Overall works to fix your broken plastic shifter blind, but the little silver magnet that communicates with the circuit board to put your car into manual mode and shift gears manually is inferior on this aftermarket part. Luckily I was able to swap the magnet with the one on the original unit and then it worked after some frustration. If you don't have the original magnet, I wouldn't bother with this and just get an original part from Volvo.

Covers the hole but something’s wrong with the magnet used for the Manual shift mode. I tried 2 of these Uro parts without success. I pulled the magnet from the OEM part and it worked intermittently. Finally installed the part from Volvo and that works fine. Not sure what the problem is since the part looks fine and Uro usually has mostly ok parts. My suggestion is to pony up the dough for the real thing on this one.
