Very thin lightweight, but it is waterproof
When I received it, I was a bit concerned. It seems very thin like a windbreaker with a lining, but I jumped in the shower and it is definitely waterproof. I haven’t gotten a lot of use out of it yet, but it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. Think it’ll be OK the times I’ve worn it. It’s been good.

Good, But Could Be Better.
Fits as expected. Very versatile and packable. Would recommend two improvements, a two-way front zipper and velcro tabs so that the hood can be rolled up into a collar. I find a rain jacket that reaches below the hips to be ideal until I have to sit down. Columbia parkas that I bought ten and fifteen years ago two way zippers to facilitate bending at the waist. This jacket and the Bugaboo Interchange jacket I bought in 2015 do not have two way zippers and that means I have to unzip the jackets and rely on the velcro tabs to keep the coat closed when I am active outside (raking leaves, shoveling snow, etc). Similarly, a couple-three velcro strips sewn onto the upper back and inside the hood allows the hood to be turned inside out and rolled up into a collar on the Water-Tight II jacket. That assists in handling the jacket and keeping the hood out of the way when driving.

Nicely made & rain resistant!
So glad to have found this brand (Columbia) at Amazon! The jacket will be an improvement to the windbreaker that my husband was using in the rain….now, this jacket will keep him dry.
