LansinohSilicone Breast Pump

This was an absolute saviour in more ways than one.Milk collector, gentle extractor, duct unblocker... a must in my postpartum journey.Good for travelling back-up and wasy to wash. Great quality of materials.I use it without the strap. Had no need to use it so far.

I can’t praise this item enough. This is honestly a must for a breastfeeding mum. I am one of those rare persons that can’t get to much milk while pumping. But when using this collection cup I get so much milk from one breast while my baby feeds from the other one. Just wanted to say this isn’t a pump but the sucking motion and baby feeding on the other breast will activate the let down and why loose all that precious milk in a breastpad when you can collected for baby to eat as an extra or to use from baths, skin issues etc. I looked initially at the hakka but being a lot more expensive I decided buying the Lansinoh. I used their nipple ointment and I was impressed with the quality and the effect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is breastfeeding or wants to breastfeed. This is great for collecting let down milk from one side whilst feeding off the other side and has a lid and suction cup on the bottom to minimise the risk of spills. For me it doesn't work as a pump unless I am feeding from the other side, if I'm not feeding the suction is not enough to stimulate milk flow. You won't be able to feed with baby across your front when using this because the pump gets in the way, so I use the rugby ball/underarm hold to feed when I use the pump. It can be a bit fiddle to get it on comfortably, especially one handed if you've got a hungry wiggly baby in the other arm, but it is possible and the suction to the breast allows it to stay in place pretty well. If milk isn't flowing sometimes adjusting the position works.

Bought as recommended by friends for breastfeeding journey. I used I the early days to help with colostrum collection. Not needed to use it for excess let down from other breast when feeding however others have.

This milk collector is fantastic, it’s quite easy to suction on your breast once you’ve got the hang of it, and it even comes with a lanyard to fasten to it and wear around your neck.The silicone is durable and overall this product is very easy to clean!So sad that I didn’t buy this sooner!

The name is misleading, it is not a breast pump, it is a breast milk collector.Description is clear though, but we went with the name which says breast pump.If you want a breast pump, this will not do the job.Will return the product.Probably for milk collection,.the product will.do the job.

This works really well and gets lots more than what would have leaked. I’ve had problems expressing and get much more with this. Need to adjust occasionally to get the right position but very easy. Get used to fitting it around babies legs. This has one saved precious milk when I do leak, which was not all the time but this always collects something, and two completely eliminated the stress of expressing. I only need enough for one bottle for the husband to do at night/first thing in the morning and this collects more than enough. I will be attempting to pump again now the pressure has gone but will be continuing to use this. I’ve used it since baby was apx 3 weeks and it’s fantastic.
