Wooks very well as long as it's not too tight between swivel mounts.
This is the best flagpoll I've had. I must be behind the times! lol I read in the reviews that some people still had an issue with the flag still twisting around the pole, but others said that it's because they have it on too tightly between the swivel mounts. They were right! I have just enough slack between the two connections, and the flag moves beautifully in the wind with no issues being tangled. I also love the black color. It looks nice with the American Flag, and also good with the color of my house, which is a greyish green.

Surprisingly bad
It looks good. However, one of the "Upgraded Tangle Free Rings" seized in less than 4 days. Now my flag gets twisted on the pole. I took apart the pole and tried to free up the ring, but it feels like the insides are made of sandpaper.EDIT: Manufacturer reached out and sent me the metal versions of the "rings" and the flag pole works great now!

Great Quality, Great Design
I live near Winslow, AZ....the land of the almost non stop gale force winds. Flags don't last long here and the ones that do will end up twisted and wrapped in knots around your flag pole. I had to go out every few days and untangle my flag from my previous pole. I can't believe someone didn't come up with this solution earlier. The tangle free rings really solve the issue and at this price point? You can't beat it! I would only like to make one suggestion to the manufacturer - you guys should offer an optional shorter pole that can be mounted in the horizontal position at the same time so a lesser stature flag can be flown below the American Flag. The finish is really nice. I'd recommend this pole to anyone looking for a replacement.

Not the best, not the worst, I assume.
Anchors didn't hold on brick, had to go buy other anchors and masonry screw bolts. The spinners, I would give a 6 out of ten. To get the holding screw out of the way of the spinners it bent the pole at that point. The spinners don't prevent the flags from getting wrapped around the pole, they may need heaver flags other than the nylon flags now common on the market. In heavy winds they seemed OK but light winds and light weight flags not to much. We just installed 6 flags to the face of a brick wall yesterday, out of the 6, I just had to untangle 5 of them this morning.

Pretty good for a multi pic rod.
The extra clips I think help hod the flag better for movement. I wish the pole was 1 Pc but I really twisted it together hard and it seems quite solid for now.

Different but the same
I purchased this style of flag pole with swivel flag holders about 4 years ago but from a different supplier. The first set lasted the four years outdoors on my dock where I display 3 heritage flags on two poles. Over time the swivels began to fail so I ordered this set. As to the sectional poles, they are identical to those I had before. The swivels are a synthetic material and so far I like them better than the metal ones on the prior set. The stands for the poles are also identical to those used before so for this season I can work with those already mounted. My area gets some pretty strong winds. In the past, these poles (one is set up at 6 feet and holds two flags) have not shown any problems with wind and with good swivels the lightweight small heritage flags will last into a second season (I put them out around May 1 when my boat is launched and put them back into storage in November when I winterize the boat). Thus far the new set seems to be fully identical to the old except for the different composition of the swivels.

Very nice sturdy flag pole
This is a really sturdy flagpole and it’s much better than the aluminum one that we had before. It looks great on the post of our house. It was very easy to put together and really liked the feature that the flag can kind of spin around and not get tangled around the pole itself.

Metal good. Plastic is weak.
Good materials and quality build for the metal pieces. The plastic parts barely lasted a year. Small plastic tab where the flag is secured on the top side of the pole broke about 9 months in. Trying to figure out how to modify the plastic ring to secure the flag in place without replacement.
