Review: Good quality, sturdy knife - While it's slightly large for a pocket knife (although I carry it anyway), this knife is sturdy and well made. Very sharp out of the box, the blade feels good and the marlin spike has already been useful several times. Both lock in place, so it's safe. Will get great use out of this one. I have wanted one since I was a diver in the Navy in the 90s. At the time, it was out of my price range, but I have since accumulated a half dozen high quality knives from the likes of Benchmade, some 2-3x what I paid for this. This is my EDC now. The blade is super-beefy and I like the drop point. Personally, I have no problem opening the knife one-handed. Sure, I'd like a G-10 blade, but have found this German steel blade to be no problem sharpening or holding an edge. The locking mechanism is super stout; open, it has the feel of a fixed blade knife. I think this is great value for ~$50. I also ordered the much cheaper competitive product with the G-10 bald, but have not even taken it out of the package b/c the knife is super boring.
