EccotempL10 Portable Water Heater w/ EccoFlo Diaphragm 12V Pump and Strainer

I built an outdoor shower for us to use over the summer. This heater works BEAUTIFULLY! Hot water within 2 seconds. Never gets cold if you have the propane hooked up! Do be careful because it can get super hot!

Absolutely Terrible. NO SUPPORT! When you call, no matter what time of day or week, you get a recording that says you have called during off hours. I have emailed these jerks 4 or 5 times and not one response. The manual is full of misleading, incorrect instructions. Looks good coming out of the box, but the performance is so irregular, that I have no hope of it ever supplying a steady, reliable supply of hot water. DO NOT BUY!!!!~This is a candidate for no stars. I wish Amazon would wise up and offer a NO STAR option. Lots of prime and other members asking for this feature. Another bad product from Amazon, who wants to be "the best customer service company in the world"??

Good product

I bought this for heating water to bathe my horses. It was very easy to set up and use. It doesn't regulate the temperature itself; you need to control the water flow to adjust the temperature. With the hose at full flow the temperature is perfect for the horses. It also comes with a pump for use if you don't have pressurized water, but I haven't used the pump.

It works great I converted it for my home I live in a two bedroom log cabin it's me and my son it is plenty hot enough for showers I had a 40 gallon propane hot water tank and it's been a month I have been using it and I'm saving $$$ like crazy still have ½ of tank left on my 20lb grill tank and by now I would have gone through at least two tanks

Do not buy. Product is not working. Hired a professional to install it and he said its faulty and broken. I am unable to return or refund it. I ordered on amazon online than read the reviews about it. The reviews were awful. I emailed the seller to cancel my order. He refuse even before it was shipping it. Avoid eccotemp and any seller who sells this product.

The water heat is fabulous and works very well. The pump didn't last long. The flojet manual for the pump recommends that when mounting in a vertical position you should mount pump side down. This puts the motor side up. It turns out the pump that came with an outdoor rated water heater has a non sealed motor. Mounting it in the recommend position allowed water into the motor. At first I felt this was my issue and considered it a lesson in life. Then I read the manual and combined that with it comes with an outdoor rated heater. If the pump isn't outdoor rated, the seller should rethink the combo.

The unit itself was good for the two years it lasted. Meaning that if you want to spend $100 a year for the unit buy it. Mine lasted two years. Called tech support. Nice guy. Asked me trouble shoot. I did. Tap on solenoid. Tape on gas regulator.Do not buy this unit unless you want to replace it every couple years.

Great addition to the camp. All the camp folks really appreciated the showered after a day of hunt or camp work. I recommend.

Truly outdoor where you right beside it so you could adjust the heat and flow. If it is outside and water/shower is inside, God help you with some burning from the hot water.

Very easy to hook up and works great. Excellent for off grid camping

Hot good quality great water flow and more then hot enough, I have it at half and it's hot. Works well anywhere.

This unit as great for the off grid application . Works very well,great pump at about 3.GPM. Hook up was easy and very little heat from exhaust which was a concern.
