I bought this for my HVAC company van. It is a 2007 Ford E150 with the 4.6L engine. There was definitely a desire for a little more oomph since I am used to a Chevy 6.0L in our other vans. I put this in and noticed a slight pick up off idle and better pull getting on the freeway and going up hills. Too early to tell any MPG difference, but I have always had at least a slight improvement on all my other vehicles. Be sure not to over oil a K&N filter when you clean them and make sure it has had adequate time to dry completely before oiling. Ford mass air flow sensors and throttle bodies are very sensitive and will throw a fit if they get even a drop of oil on them. Fit and finish of this filter is perfect. Took less than 2 minutes to drop it in! I will always buy K&N filters for all of my vehicles, both work and personal. Economical and functional at a very reasonable price! I waited until my F-150 had 125,000 miles on it to get the K&N filter for it and now wish I had bought it sooner. The engine response on acceleration improved noticeably, while gas mileage only improved very fractionally. I like it a lot, but understand that cleaning and re-oiling it will not only be a chore when the time comes, but it might also be a bit pricey (almost as much as the original filter.) Considering this costs about 2x what an air filter at Jiffy-Lube costs, maybe that's ok, and I'll reserve judgment until I've actually done the cleaning and re-oiling once. In the meantime, I have smoother, quicker acceleration, and I'm pleased. I used 4-stars instead of 5 because of the cost/work of cleaning....

This did not fit my F-150.ReturnedK&N is the absolutely the BEST air filter on the market!I ordered the correct K&N for my truck as the old one was worn out!

Fits perfectly on my 2004 Mustang GT's stock air box; So far I've installed various brands cold air, ram air intake kits but in the end of a day the best option was this K&N Drop in filter option` Engine runes smooth and sounds nice, Increased throttle responsiveness and adds some minor gains on high rpm's.

Fits properly in my 2007 motorhome which has a Ford E450 Superduty. Great price as well.

I've put a k&n engine air filter in every vehicle I've owned and again not disappointed. Was slightly tight clamping it back into place but I only saw that as having a good seal around the rubber part of the filter. I doubt it gives you extra horsepower but I've noticed better throttle response. I'll continue to use these k&n filters in the future for any other vehicles I may purchase.

Works great in my Ford E450 6.8L V10 motor home. I cannot say for certain that we got any better gas mileage as we were driving in the mountains most of the trip. However, I did notice that with the OEM air filter I could hear a fair amount of octane ping. With the K&N filter installed the octane ping was reduced to the minimum. In over 7,000 miles I only noticed it a couple of times.
