Nice but sizing was off
I had previously (about two years) gotten Polar Mocs (I think an older version, maybe Polar Moc I) as a Christmas present with a size 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 women's and they fit perfectly. They fit well and are extremely comfortable. They get pretty heavy use as I like to wear them while walking on my treadmill instead of putting on heavy shoes. After two years they finally wore down enough that I could start to feel the patterns on the sole through the inside of the slipper and decided to replace them. I bought the Polar Moc III in the same size as my old ones and they were too small so I had to return them. I ordered the next size up and am waiting for it to arrive to see if they fit better. I was surprised with it being the same brand and looking pretty much identical to my old ones except in color, that the sizing would be so different. I thought at first maybe my old ones had just stretched from use, but the old ones were comfortable right out of the box and a comparison of the actual hard part of the sole did show a definite difference in length between the two pairs. I marked down four starts just for the unreliable sizing, otherwise I'd give them five stars. I love the sturdy soles - I can wear them to run outside for the paper or into the garage to get something from the car and they held up well to use on my treadmill (walking only, I think they would not have done so well if I'd been running).

Comfortable, pratical Slippers!
These slippers are great. The are very comfortable and light weight; keep your feet warm when it is chilly and don't over heat them when it is warm. I love the fact they are made out of a felt material which gives them great flexibility. I am Lazy. Some times so lazy that I just slip my feet into my slippers and don't bother popping my heel in. With slippers that have formed or cardboard stiffened material in the backs , this ruins them over a short period of time. Not the case with these! And because they are material wearing them this way is not uncomfortable on the bottom of my feet. When worn properly they are also very comfortable and do not rub or annoy the backs of your heels or tops of your feet. They have a rubber sole so you can wear them outdoors. I wear them when I go to the little store down the street, pick up my kid, garden etc. They also stay on well, you don't "walk" out of them when in a hurry or going up stairs. Best part is they are washable. I have had these a few weeks and washed them twice with no issues such as loose threads, seams popping etc. I popped them in the dryer as well as I was too lazy to read or save the washing directions.I bought a pair of UGG slippers before these and I prefer the Acorn to the UGGs for comfort, fit and practicability. If there is any draw back it is that they are not the most attractive foot ware. They do look just like the picture so I knew what to expect when I ordered them. I highly recommend these.

Decent slippers
I live in slippers, so I checked into a lot of different brands to try to find ones that I thought would both stay on my feet & keep them halfway warm. I ruled out any I found with a sherpa or similar lining as they always go flat in no time & then want to fall off my feet. I have now been wearing them for 3 months, & I can honestly say I wish I'd returned them. I generally wear a size 7, so I went with a size 6 as 8's never stay on my feet, 7's don't exist, & other reviewers recommend you buy them a size smaller than your normal size as they supposedly run big or will stretch out. When they say 7-8, you are actually getting an 8. As expected, when I received them they scrunched my toes because they were really too small, but I decided to take my chances that they would stretch out & be just right after I broke them in. Big mistake! They have not gone flat or stretched out. They feel the same as the first day I slipped them on. For what they cost, I would expect them to have a better range in sizes. Now I am stuck with yet another pair of slippers I am not happy with, yet I will continue to put up with them because of what I paid. I will say they seem to be well made, & as for warmth, I suppose the average person would say they are ok, but although they might be a little better than other pairs I've owned over the years, my feet still manage to get ice cold at times. So...until they make a broader range of sizes, I will definitely not be buying another pair, & the quest for the perfect pair of slippers will go on.

I LOVE ACORNS!
I love Acorn slippers. Nothing else will do. While I admit these do run a little big I don't necessarily think its a bad thing. I normall wear a 6 - 6 1/2 and I ordered the 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 and while they're a little big I think its ok and I will tell you why. First, I always wear socks with them. Second, I've had an issue with other Acorns in the toe area. The sole separates from the shoe. This happened with my last 3 pairs. Why do I keep buying them? Cuz they are the most comfortable slipper in the universe! And I wear them to death. I wear them when ever I am home. Considering that they lasted a while. So, these being a little big might be a good thing if it prevents my toe from pressing against the toe area thus preventing them from ripping. I'm willing to try it. Even it it doesn't I will continue to buy Acorns because they are simply the most comfortable slipper ever.

Sure keep your feet warm
I will say these Acorns do a great job of keeping your feet warm, almost too warm sometimes. I don't find them to be especially comfortable, but that's because of a very sensitive spot on the top of my right foot that gets a little too much pressure from the top of the slipper. Otherwise, they are well made and the sole is nice and thick, which makes them suitable for running outside for brief periods. The foot bed inside is also comfortable and soft, and gives a bit of arch support. So overall it's a decent, warm slipper that most people would probably find comfortable and cozy and perfect for keeping their feet warm on cold nights.
