Showed up cracked and still works great
This is a kit where everything in it is high quality. The heating mat doesn't come with a thermostat and the lighting height is fixed to the top of the dome, *however* unless you're growing seeds in an extremely narrow temperature range, this works quite well. The base is sturdy, and while the lid for one of the two I ordered arrived cracked, it had no difficulty keeping humidity in. If anything, they keep *too* much humidity in the dome for some seeds (and I would definitely recommend against using peat pots or wooden labels, as mine molded almost immediately), but you can always prop the dome up slightly to let more moisture out if needed. These are expensive, but getting a good grow light on Amazon can be extremely tricky, and I was very pleased with these (and the mats). Aside from anything I planted in peat pots, everything has showed signs of sprouting and is doing well.

Very nice little Greenhouse
This is a nice, all-in-one growing kit. My seeds came up and are thriving. The heating mat is working great, and the grow light is working well as my seedlings are getting more leaves and growing up strong and full. I like that the clear dome lid has two adjustable vents on top to help control the moisture level inside. This helps prevent mold growth, or helps prevent the seedlings from drying out too much. I would recommend this to my friends for sure.

Could Be 5 Stars IF…
I really do like this prop kit. Light is strong enough, heating mat works well, I like the vents for circulation, and it definitely keeps the environment humid enough.A couple of changes would make this a 5-Star product:1.) Create a lip on the base so the lid sits inside of it. This would prevent dripping onto the floor/table when it’s really humid in the box.2.) Make it so the light snaps into place on the lid, so it doesn’t slide off the lid when you lift the lid off.3.) Make the connecting cable (that is used to connect a second prop box) just a little longer. As it is, you can’t have 2 boxes connected side-by-side with both lights sitting as they are supposed to on the lid - one has to be turned at an angle because the connecting cable is too short.Overall a really good product that could be near perfect with a couple of minor tweaks.

Take the blue reflector film off the light's reflector!
This arrived in perfect condition. The only issue I had was getting the light to work which was quite a struggle as I took the reflector film off and it was difficult getting the reflector itself back on the light fixture. You don't need to take the reflector totally out of the light fixture to remove the film as I did. Lord knows when it will ever stop raining here but at least I have my garden started for this year thanks to the Super Sprouter Premium Heated Propagation Kit. We'll see if any seeds come up!A couple months later - well, the seeds did come up, most within a week. The only difficulty I had with this is that the top fits over the bottom and the water which condescends on the clear plastic top drips over the tray and onto the counter it is sitting on. If it was redesigned where the top fits inside the tray it would work much better. Anyway, my orchids like it too and it's become sort of a hospital for sick orchids. I keep it on a towel to absorb all the water. Good purchase. Just needs a bit of redesigning.

Keeps plants warm humid and lit.
A bit flimsy feeling but I'm not wrestling with it, I'm growing flowers. Worked well and strongly recommend for germination or cloning. Light seemed a bit underpowered and I used one of my own.

Just Happily Bought My Third Super Sprouter!
I bought two Super Sprouters two years ago and they both still work well. I just bought a third to add to the daisy chain. The small enclosed environment of the Super Sprouter is perfect for me to propogate tomato seeds in my unheated February/March basement in the chilly 6a growing zone.I like that the tray that comes with the Super Sprouter kit is a standard 10 x 20 seed starting tray, which means the dome will fit on top of any other standard-sized tray. The light fits in a groove running across the length of the dome in the middle, so some of the seedlings on the outer edges of the tray may tend to bend inwards toward the light. Since I use separate peat pots on the tray, I can always rotate the seedlings around a little, if this starts to happen. One thing to watch out for is the Super Sprouter heat mat, which slowly heats at first, but can get very warm! It the mat gets too hot, you can diffuse the heat by placing the tray on a couple of pencils lifting the tray about 3/8 inches off the mat.
