Best tool around!
Everyone needs to press their bow at some point! From installing a peep to a new drop away rest to serve in the cord. And of course everybody needs new strings on their bow at some point. But even if you always take your bow to the pro shop, you never know when a peep sight might get knocked out when you are on your way to a hunt. Minor things happen and this makes for a good first aid kit for your bow. Keep in mind that this is only designed to do minor servicing of your bow. You can't take a bow completely apart with it without creating a dangerous situation. And if you have a split limb bow, you will need the brackets for them. But I used this to tie in my peep and to serve in the cord on my drop away rest. And it worked without a hitch and much safer than the videos I had seen of people using ratchet straps! Many bow manufacturers list that as an acceptable bow press. But be aware that some manufacturers do not. Particularly bows with beyond parallel limbs. This tool practically pays for itself on it's first use! I went to my local shop to get two peep sights installed and it cost me more than this press.

Almost perfect for the price.
I was pretty skeptical about this press when I first bought it. Its not really useable without the accessory brackets, which should just come all together for safety reasons IMO. For this reason it gets a 4 star. I would not attempt to use this without the brackets on any bow!! So far the press worked on two Diamond Infinite Edge pros and a Bowtech tribute with no issues at all. I would not be afraid to occasionally take a bow all the way down using this with proper precautions taken into account. Overall this is a quality press and It works as advertised. Side note: I recommend draping a towel or something over the riser and guide cables to keep this from scratching. The threads will try to eat into your cables if they're not protected. It also comes very oily and I didn't want that all over my strings.

Works ok for me but you need add ons
I am an amateur archer and I only own a few bows and as such donโt make many changes on my equipment often. I canโt really justify buying a real bow press so this device helped me do a few maintenance things on my bows. One thing to mention is if you have split limb bows you will need the split limb brackets, which are an additional cost. However it still worked out to be far cheaper than a minimum $400 press. Also the big press takes up a lot of space. Just follow the youtube videos.

Great tool for the price
This is a great tool to use for the person that doesnโt want to spend the money on a press or just needs to do simple fixes. Itโs not as convenient or handy as a full size press, but is a fraction of the price and gets the job done! Ive been pleased with it and letโs me do the simple stuff like fix or change peeps without taking into the bow shop.

Plenty of travel allows bow limb changes
I purchased this so I can work on my own bow, I am in the process of building a full size press but that will be a while before I finish it. I only own 1 bow so speed was not a big deal. I used this to swap limbs on my Xpedition Perfexion and it worked fine with the limb tip adapters that are about $18 here on Amazon. The only thing was the vinyl padding on the adapters got in the way of the limb stop so I had to use them with the vinyl removed. the 6" travel on the G2, which is longer than that of the original, easily allowed for the press to completely remove all the tension from the limbs so I could put different poundage limbs on the bow. Very reasonable price for a well made product.

bowmaster g2 press easier to use than i thought
This is an excellent device and very easy to use. I also ordered the wide limb adapter to go with it. Pay attention to the limb adapter, it was really "too wide" for both my bows. They make a regular (non wide) but it isnt on amazon. Besides that, the press is very simple and easy to use. I have never used a bow press, but needed to change the strings on 2 bows and I was quoted $200 each for replacement and a new dloop and sight. I rolled the dice and decided to do it myself. I was really nervous about compressing the limbs, but it really was not sketchy at all. I have a pse brute and a parker wildfire and it worked great (again, wish i had the regular limb adapter) I feel like I saved a ton of money doing this myself and it was not nearly as sketchy as i thought. Also a great help when putting on a peep site. HIGHLY recommend.

Amazingly simple, amazingly useful!
No need to spend hundreds of dollars. It's portable and you'd buy one just to have with you on a hunt anyways. This is all you need , just build a workstation and bingo. My workstation is an adjustable folding keyboard stand with foam plumbing pipe insulation tubes and velcro tie straps. It's portable and fits any size bow. I bought the split limbs adapters for it and have worked on anything from regular limb bows tho extreme parallel limb bows. Don't hesitate.

Three Stars
Would work on most bows but this was too big to fit between the limbs on my bear bow.

Good quality product and does the job
This is a good product and a must-have for any serious archer who wants to work on his bowstring/cable. I used it only once, but it worked like a charm. It is well-built and came nicely packed and well-oiled. I wish I had this a month ago to save myself a hard time and painful experience when working on my bowstring without a bow press. Plus, it says 'Made in USA' - hard to find manufactured products coming from North America anymore. This is one of them and lives to its expectations.

A Must Have for do-it-yourselfer in the field
Awesome product for the do-it-yourselfer! Allowed me to do a complete take down of my compound bow without the use of a bow press. Construction is precision made with steel parts. I also ordered the L-brackets to make sure I'm not stuck. They are a must for some newer bows. Should be in my archery tool box for a long time. I'm not sure if it's good on past parallel limbs. You may have to do more research. All in all a great product for its price.

Great press for cheapest price
Works great if you can't afford a EZ press or something alike, or if you just need a press for on the go on your hunt. I have owned it for about 8 months now and still works great, only thing i noticed is that an odd wire sticks up and pokes you, just be careful and go slow with it.
