My son has been obsessed with legos for the past two years. I purchased one of the other Harry Potter sets that goes with this collection & he fell in love with them, loves going to get more to add together. He particularly wanted this one for his next piece & I couldn’t find it anywhere in stores. This came fast & is the perfect new addition to my son’s collection.

I love this scene from the first Harry Potter movie and building it in LEGO was so much fun. I love that this set includes the main trio and a bonus golden Hermione figure. Fluffy is fun to play with, but my favorite feature of this set is the way the castle corridor breaks into different sections that can be rearranged. So clever! I will definitely be buying more Harry Potter LEGO sets because I am so delighted by this model!

Got this for my 6 year old grandson who is a big Harry Potter fan. It required some assistance and supervision but it was a great project to do together. I liked how the sections came in separate bags. That way we could stop and start again easily. There are lots of little pieces that aren’t blocks. You can tell I haven’t done Legos in a while. We worked on a cookie sheet to keep the pieces off the floor and for sorting. The directions were a little hard to understand since it was only pictures but he figured things out. He learned to look at how many pieces were needed and if the object needed to be rotated. There were leftover pieces which I immediately thought we missed when building but it seems there were some extra. He loved the finished project and played with it afterwards.
