Review: Pole Type Monitor Mount Worth Buying - This monitor mount is heavy duty! Sturdy, well built, and can mount two different ways. I have a keyboard stand with an upper shelf. I installed the monitor mount using a center slot I had cut into the shelf and it was a breeze installing it. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: How high is the highest point I can mount a monitor from the table/clamp?  (ie. from table to the center of monitor)?**
A: I have not put this together yet, however I measured the pole and the usable area of the pole is exactly 16 inches tall. When set to the top position of the pole, the bottom of the arm will be 1.5 inches below the top of the pole. once you set the vesa mount on the arm the bottom screw hole for the mount is 1 or 1.5 inches below that depending on which set of holes you use with your monitor *there are 2 sets smaller and larger* so based on those measurements the bottom screw holes of the monitor should be 13 inches high or 13.5 if you are using a smaller monitor with the smaller hole pattern.  my 24" monitor uses the smaller holes.

**Q: How close to the pole can the horizontal arm/mount go? Is there a way to butt it up against it as close as possible rather than the 15" of extension?**
A: The arm only folds part way so that with the pole centered it is 12-15 inches away. I use it with the arm extended such that one edge of the monitor is against the pole.

**Q: I already own the base and pole. do you sell just the swivel arm and vesa plate?**
A: To the seller (Wali Electric): How would one contact Wali via the Walielectric website? The website has no information ABOUT Wali Electric whatsoever. There is no "About" page, no "Contact" page, no "FAQ" page, no "Shipping Info" page, NOTHING but products for sale and their descriptions. There is also no contact information whatsoever in the PDF User Manual or Warranty documents attached to this Amazon product page other than a support email address. Shady.

**Q: how close to the desk mount can the horizontal arm be set.  In other words what is the lowest the horizontal arm can be adjusted**
A: Technically speaking, the horizontal arm can be adjusted down to the top flat of C-clamp or Grommet-Base, however, it depends on how deep your monitor is. When your monitor presses on towards the desk, the horizontal arm's position should be the lowest for you.

This mount is built like a tank — heavy, sturdy, and super stable once it’s up. The instructions had me scratching my head for a minute, but there are two different ways to install it, so once you figure out which method works for your setup, it comes together nicely. My favorite part is the little tool‑storage area. It keeps everything in one place so you’re not hunting for Allen keys later when you need to adjust or take it apart. Honestly, every mount should have this. Great product overall, even with the slightly confusing instructions.
