It took a bit of trial and error to assemble, I put one of the parts in wrong ways the first time, but after getting it together I’m in love with this.It’s so study while also being lightweight and the back leg locks into place so it doesn’t fall over and just. Love this. Love love love. 10/10. It’s fantastic.

I purchased this product as I'm pretty much painting everyday, in different mediums, on different canvases of all sizes. When I was looking at easels I looked at 3 different factors:StorageVersalityConvienceThe VISWIN canvas seemed to hit all the marks so I picked it up and I was immediately impressed. The storage capacity holds so much tubes of paint (I typically use Gamblin 180 in different sizes and this compartment holds at most 4-5 large tubes or like 8-10 small tubes which is ALOT)Versatility was another factor, I wanted something that could move horizontally and while admittedly this canvas does require a bit of know how to put it together, if done correctly you'll have access to a horizontal incline that allows for great washes or removal of reflection to not have light mess up your values.Lastly, convience, the easel itself is a bit heavy but folds easily enough to make it compact and store in a closet or lug around outdoors (to some extent you obviously won't be stuffing this in a Fiat)The BONUS of this easel is that it has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. The reason I'm reupping this review was after I had an issue with the easel and was ultimately going to toss it because I was out of return from Amazon until I was notified by VISWIN that I could have the parts replaced and the easel restored! And they did it! I just received my parts and the easel is back up and running!Great easel, great customer service, and I'm hoping to have this durable and reliable canvas for a long time!Thanks VISWIN!

Came in a really slender box. All the instructions are clear, the parts are labeled (and the best part, they come pre-assembled… for example the nuts, bolts, and washers are already loosely together), and you have an extra of each piece. Even comes with a Philips and Flat head screwdriver! The craftsmanship of the wood is also really cool… the wood is light but sturdy. Definitely got my moneys worth!!!

Beautiful, sturdy easel for displaying paintings and photos. It is not easy to put together - but worth the time. It is sturdy, therefore not very light weight.

Upon first opening the box, I was very happy to see all parts were labeled. All screws/bolts/springs were neatly separated in individually labeled bags as well. And thanks for providing a Phillips head screwdriver! An instruction manual booklet with pictures showed step-by-step explanations on how to assemble. My ONLY complaint: wood parts #1 & #2 should have been reversed. I kept referring to the picture and told myself that the holes were on the wrong side. After getting to step #5, that's when I had to take them apart again. After that mishap, everything else went smoothly. Hopefully, it was only my particular package that was mislabeled (parts 1 & 2). I put this together by myself. Two people are not required like the instructions suggest. But, then again, I'm patient and really enjoy putting furniture together. I plan to get lots of use out of my easel and can't wait to start painting!

It works for what I needed it for. I love that it is height adjustable and that it tilts. My only complaint is that if you like to paint while standing like I do, this may not be for you if you’re over a certain height. I am 5’8” and standing is ok for a few minutes but puts strain on my neck from looking down too far. I mainly paint in a stool with this easel and it’s fine for that. I would have preferred if the easel could adjust a bit higher.

Bought it for $75 instead of the original price of $95. Good for 75 most likely would have returned it if I bought it for 95.Biggest downside is that it's short even at its maximum. So the painting will never be at eye level for me while standing. Color of the wood is pretty though and it was simple to construct. If your city doesn't have a proper art supply store, i.e. not Hobby Lobby or Michaels and you're not super tall, this is a good easel.

This easel was exactly as represented: An adjustable, professional quality easel that holds large canvasses. Very portable, but I wouldn't recommend it for taking in a car, etc. It's a good height for standing and is adjustable both up/down and on the incline. Looks great, too!

Very good A-frame easel for what I needed. Great that this has a tray holder on bottom for my brushes and tubes of paint. Also plenty of room on the top of tray for those thicker side canvases. The set up does take time, around 40-45 minutes, but following instructions given, I had no problems. All parts and components were there and even an extra each. Tilts forward nicely. Already using this.

It works as designed.Alssembly was a bit of a challenge.

The easel is perfect for my purposes - displaying an existing painting. It is certainly sturdy enough for that use, although I suspect it may be a little wobbly for an artist enthusiastically applying media to a canvas. I took a chance and bought one of the ones listed as "Used" although it had obviously never been assembled before; really it was only the packaging that looked a little worse for wear. The easel itself was in perfect condition and I saved 12 bucks!

It took me about 45mins to assemble. looks nice and sturdy. Easy to adjust the height and does not take up much space which I really like. Need some pads or a soft surface under as it may scratch the floor. The price definitely could be lower.
