Me he construido un instrumento a mi gusto, una especie de Mandolina o Mandoguitar de 6 cuerdas, a partir de una miniestrato de escala 3/4 (unos 50 cm) que compre a uno de mis hijos cuando era pequeño. Necesitaba que la escala fuera de unos 38 cm, y este dispositivo me ha permitido construirlo cortándole la cabeza a la mini estrato. La única dificultad importante es el sistema de anclaje de las cuerdas en el extremo del cuello. Es necesario trabajar bastante el extremo del cuello de la guitarra para que quede bien colocado en su sitio. Por lo demás el puente es un diseño bastante ingenioso y es fácil hacerle el setup de altura de las cuerdas, compensación, etc, y también mantiene bastante bien la afinación de las cuerdas sin necesidad de usar cuerdas especiales. Es suficiente que tengan bola solo en uno de los extremos. Por tanto, buen dispositivo, de construcción robusta y que aumenta las posibilidades de diseño de instrumentos.
