REAPR Versa Camp Ax

For the price and multifunctions it serves its a great tool, just expect to feel every vibration through the handle if you're chopping through anything.

This little lightweight ax splits wood like a champ when you baton it. The hammer has these bevels under it that pop the wood apart when you drive it in. Much less effort that just a small plain hatchet. The pry bar works good, but the tip is not to a sharp point like a hardware store prybar. But I didn't take off anything points because it seems more for breaching than pulling nails. It could use a small cover on the prybar end, but I have access to a 3D printer so I will just make something simple. Haven't tried the wrench yet, but I am sure it's fine. Glad it's there to reduce the weight though. For the price, it's a great buy. And it feels a lot lighter than it looks.

Bought this for my camping trip and was not disappointed. Used the hammer to nail down some tent stakes, I do wish the head is just a bit wider. Used the axe to chop a branch easily. The handle was comfortable to grip for me but it's skinny and might not be good if you have large hands. Didn't use the prying end but I do agree that should also come with a cover. The axe cover was ok, the two button closures on the body of the cover popped open when I was using the hammer. Luckily the strap is more secure and didn't come off.

I was looking for a small ax/hammer/pick combo. I came across this little guy. The price was right about where I wanted to spend. This piece of kit lives in my truck, so it hasn't been used yet. The steel feels thick and stout, the textured paint is nice. The ax sheath is thick nylon, and is sturdy. I like the pry bar handle, but the handle is not long enough to get good leverage with it. This is NOT a throwing ax at all, but a decent little camp ax/mini breacher. You will need to hone the blade as it is not sharp from factory. I gave it 4 /5 stars because I have not attempted to use it yet. Once I use it I will adjust my score accordingly.

The sheath is made perfectly. You just need to make sure you put the axe in the sheath the correct way or it will not fit. Just wish it was made with tougher and stronger material.
