When I opened the box I was surprised how large the suction cups were. More surprised when it latched on so hard it ripped off the glass from my window.Please note I did not use this as a flag holder, but as an antenna. Im assuming a gust of wind hit it and my window was not strong enough.Looking for a sturdy unit that feels made of great quality, and large and STRONG suction cups? LOOK NO FURTHER!!

We tried this flag pole holder out on our RV at a lake a week ago. And the flag would not stay up. The suction cups work great! Not taking away from that. But the flag pole holder would not stay in the upright position. I tightened the screws as tight as i could get them thinking that would work...nope the pole kept leaning to where the flag was almost touching the ground. So i took it apart, placed some gorilla duct tape under it thinking it would allow me to tighten it more and not slip. Again...nope.I eneded up having to use bailing wire that i just happen to have in my toolbox to wrap and secure the holder in place. This is not something you want to do while trying to relax at the lake...

Need a flag holder the rv. Love being able yo move the placement on rv. Never know where trees will be. OR how the site is designed.

It was ok, if u wanna put it on ur car u gotta clean the surface really well, and press hard, but one of the parts moves going down the road, and it slowly tilts, mabey u can weld it

I ordered this product after receiving a cell phone signal booster that required an outdoor antenna mount. Instead of a permanent mount I wanted something that I could locate in the best reception area. In my search I found this suction mount flag pole holder and thought it would be perfect for my situation. It almost is.My idea was to mount the product on the fiberglass sidewall of the rv trailer. In my tests it would mount and hold for hours but would fall off during the night, assuming due to lowering temps. After 3 failed attempts for it to hold overnight, instead of returning it, I decided to try on the glass window as the suction cups explicitly say "glass suction cup" or something like that. It held up for days and was rock solid!The instructions say to clean the area before attaching and that's what I did every time. And every time it would hold for hours before falling off. The antenna is much heavier than a flag pole so maybe someone would have better luck on fiberglass than I did. I can confirm that the product is stout because it fell 3 times from about 9-10 feet onto gravel and only the paint was damaged.My intent is never to drive while the product is attached and I didn't test that so some of the complaints about it coming off while driving I can't speak to. But I would be suspicious about it adhering to any surface other than glass. Still, it is a sturdy, well constructed product that serves my purpose if not as I originally intended.

I purchased this to carry a flag on my 2019 Challenger Hellcat rear window. I followed all directions and attempted to install the product. It felt unsecure so I left it on the window for 30 minutes prior to driving. I came out I gave it a gentle tug ( a lot less pressure then wind resistance would provide) and it released immediately.This product, if I had driven with it, would have failed immediately and would have caused significant damage to my vehicle.

only flag worth putting in this is the one you wanna lose, absolute trash - it will melt into the surface you put it on and then fall off at less than 15mph
