Great printer
Had it for 6 months or so and it has worked really really well. No issues at all. Perfect for home printing.

A quality printer at a good price...
Through circumstances that existed at the time of buying this B305 mono all-in-one printer, I was able to buy it for about £105 rather than it's full price of £270, so it was a very good deal:1. Amazon Warehouse offered one in good condition at a good discount2. Xerox offered at £30 cashbackI chose a mono printer because colour is so expensive and more complicated. I had a beautiful Epsom all-in-one which started to dump it's yellow toner everywhere, so decided to cut my losses and chuck it out.I did not want to buy a device that was tied to a clever manufacturer who insists on expensive toner and play funny games, I didn't want to use ink because of jets that can block if unused for a while, and I wanted a high quality image than ink provides. This Xerox also scans to PDF very quickly and is a pleasure to use. In fact there are a number of facilities that remain unexplored for the moment. Double-sided single-sheet scanning has been a little picky depending on the quality of the paper being scanned. But, RECOMMENDED.

3 stars because of toner cost
The Xerox B3 printer while the printing quality is excellent and the purchase price good value at £185, I have serious concerns about the cost of genuine toner (£97 for 3000 copies). The initial price of the printer is reasonable, but the ongoing expense of replacing Xerox-branded toner cartridges is far too high. For anyone who prints regularly, the cost of genuine toner quickly outweighs any initial savings on the printer itself. Additionally, using third-party toner voids the warranty, which feels like a frustrating restriction. While the printer performs well, the toner costs make it hard to recommend for budget-conscious users. I'm also annoyed that the price has dropped by £20 not long after purchase.

Dreadful purchase - BEWARE
A terrible purchase. We could not get it to work via wi-fi. Hours of trying to find the fault and talking to various Xerox technicians failed to help. There appears to be a fault on a circuit board - we hired a very clever technician to try and solve the wi-fi issue and he confirmed the problem. It is just out of the 30 days return window. Trying to contact Xerox to do something about a manufacturing fault of their making isn't easy. Supposedly an engineer is coming out to visit. Watch this space.

Comes with toner
Fairly easy to set up although the pictures of how to remove all the packing materials are not that clear.Initial use had an error message and needed to follow online simple instructions to remove.Printing seems good and fast, bit noisy.Although advertised as without toner it comes with a starter toner cartridge so not necessary to buy toner at same time.

Great Printer
I am really pleased with this purchase. The print quality is excellent and the whole thing has worked straight out of the box. Set-up couldn't have been simpler and so far (I only got it yesterday) things are working well.I particularly like that it prints on both sides of the paper automatically - a real paper saver. From being in standby, it has just taken 40 seconds to print three pages (with the first pages being printed on the front and the back of the sheet) so the wake-up time is more than acceptable. The wi-fi reception seems to be good - the printer is a long way from the router but seems to be connecting really well.Printing from mobile devices couldn't be easier. The only niggle I have found is that whenever I tried to print a PDF document from a mobile device it says the printer is out of paper. I'm waiting for their technical support to get back to me about this.Part from that, it's an excellent printer with a small footprint and would be suitable for almost any home office.
