Amazing little stool!
I got this stool to carry with me on hikes because I have sciatic pain and sometimes need to sit down to relieve the pain. This stool is really nice because it's sturdy enough to hold me up (and I am a large person - it definitely can handle bigger loads!) and it's easy to set up and collapse. Best of all, it doesn't weigh that much or take up a lot of space, so I can carry it in a tote bag or backpack without any trouble. The only drawback is it's a smidge too big for a standard hydration backpack. As for comfort, it is what it is. It works great for short-term use, but wouldn't want to sit on it for more than maybe 15 minutes at a time. But if you just need something for short intervals, it's a great choice.

Triple WOW
I coach soccer and this is perfect for keeping in my bag all the time as a handy chair when I need to rest my feet. The height is perfect for a 5’10’’ male w avg bmi. It’s pretty lightweight - maybe not for a multi day backpacking trip tho. The quality seems good and durable. No cushion in the chair but it’s still comfortable. I love that it is simple to pack / unpack. Best portable sitting device I’ve owned

Superb Folding Stool
Prompt delivery. The stool is 1st-Rate: Ultra-compact: it folds to only 14" long and 4" wide at the top (seat). Very sturdy legs with semi-pointed tips that sink into the ground or sit well on a hard surface. The legs slide out once and lock in place with a push button. Excellent, tough canvas seat material. Only CON is the tough surface of the seat (no padding). I plan to add this in some form, such as a folded towel or small pillow.

Steardy, reliable and easy to carry while traveling
This is the second product that I purchased from this company. I have been using this stool because I have lymphedema on my legs. It means that my legs do not have good circulation and swell. In an effort to keep the swelling down I need to keep the legs elevated. Both stools, this stool and the comfort stool (purchased about 3 years ago), have been great for that purpose.Additionally, I have used the stool for seating in places where I had to stand for a long time. Such as theater or movie lines. I find both stool types comfortable.Since I own both, the basic and the comfort stools, I would say that you need to decide how long you expect to be using it. The comfort stool is more comfortable to seat for a long time and more steady. The Comfort stool that I previously purchased is 18" high. The basic is 20" high but the seating area is narrower than the basic stool. Both the basic and the comfort stools are easy to fold. I am able to take them in the plane in my carrying case.I love my "Walkstool" and the reason I bought a second one is so in case I loose one, I would have another one to take with me. This stool goes everywhere with me.

Good for short sits, but would not recommend for long sitting
Light weight and small. I was looking for stool to use out hunting, but this one's seat is too small so would not be comfortable for long periods. It's also tippy, so it would not be good if placing on uneven ground.

Check each bracket
The bracket attaching seat to legs came broken

Where have you been all my life?!
I really wished I had known about this before. For anyone that hikes, watches sports, or as in my household is a working archaeologist - this is an absolute must have. It folds up so tiny that it fits into your daypack. The size folded up is tiny, the weight is barely there - and that matters when you are hiking into an area, or at the end of a day when y8ou are hiking back out. It is sturdy and everyone around you will be looking at you w it's envy, as they are sitting on the ground!
