**Q: Shelf life?**
A: An unopened plastic bucket gallon of brown sugar is good indefinitely. Once opened and kept sealed with the lid is two years, I believe ☺️

**Q: Is this like brownulated brown sugar? Light not dense and packed?**
A: It was fluffy on arrival, but is very molassy an eventually clumped.  It still mixes well into a batter for my madeleines.
