This scale is fine and a good value for the money
I've used this line/brand of scales for several years. I've lost over 30 lbs, partly by weighing myself every day. Yes, you do hold your phone over the scale and take a picture and then the weight is registered into the weight guru app, but there's no cheating or rounding the numbers down that way. You know you are being honest. Sometimes it can be a little bit wonky, like a step on, step off, and the weight changes kind of thing. But I've never seen a digital scale that didn't do that. Not in this price range. I like mine. I bought one for my home and one for when I go visit my relatives, to stay on track while visiting. It keeps me accountable.

body fat percentage can't be right
For a wide variety of reasons, the body fat readings cannot be right. For example, I will drink water and it will change. Or, I'm getting leaner based on pants and appearance, but because my weight is the same, my BF percentage is the same. Body fat appears to be interpolated based on weight....?

Frustratingly Inconsistent Weights Vary by 5 Lbs Without Moving The Scale!!!
I have put up with this scale for almost a year now and it is so frustratingly inconsistent. I have stepped on it and get one weight and then weigh myself again and it shows 2 lbs lighter or 2 lbs heavier. I've tried moving it to different places in the house and it will have a 5 lb swing depending on where it is placed. I've also had it tell me I'm a certain weight and then wait a whole week and weigh myself again and it says I weigh 7 lbs more. And I'm at a healthy BMI for my height, so a 7 lb swing in a week seems impossible to me. It also is frustrating to scan with the phone because you only have seconds to scan and sometimes it just won't do it. So, this is why I have to weigh myself multiple times and have noticed the dramatic swings of 1-2 lbs when weighing myself immediately after my first weigh in. Not worth buying since it is not consistent to use to see if weight loss is successful.

Don’t waste your money.
Inconsistent reading. It fluctuate up to three pounds in one day, very frustrating and inaccurate compared to the gyms commercial grade scale which yields very different t body fat readings. I’m afraid this technology is a waste of money.

App can't read from the scale. Don't waste your time.
So to use this you step on the scale, it displays your weight, then a code for the app to scan. Gets where it goes downhill... The app won't focus on the code, then you're juggling the phone trying to zoom, trying to capture the code, the code is gone again, now it's back... If that sounds fun to you, then buy this scale. It's not fun for me

BUYER BEWARE! STAY AWAY!!
Buyer beware! You have to take a picture of a barcode on the scale EVERY time you weigh to actually “sync”. Total gimmick, I could have bought a five dollar scale and manually tracked my weight. This scale is not Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, extremely misleading.

Worst Scale Ever!!
Horribly inaccurate and shows a vastly different weight even moments later if weighing minutes apart. An expensive piece of junk.
