This is probably the book you're looking for
If you're looking at this book, it is probably thee book you are looking for. If you've practiced meditation, gone to lots of therapy, made your life quiet and nondisruptive, set boundaries, become aware of your stressors, become away of your own behavior... all that and it still feels like something is missing, this may well be that something. A little "woo woo" at times, but also full of incredibly helpful information and recommended practices. Worth it every time I sit down to read.

Brilliant
Brilliant book. It explains easily about nervous system and polyvagal theory. Deb Dana is perfect and gentle with sharing her wisdom. Lots of useful exercises, to do them yourself and for implement in your practice with clients. Polyvagal theory was one of the main counterstones in supporting and healing my complex PTSD diagnose.
