Crocs Women's Modi Flip Flops

These sandals feel like walking on air. They’re a total staple for me, I love throwing them on for quick errands. The toe divider does not rub or hurt my feet, and the shoes itself is not too heavy so there’s no thumping when I walk. Okay- now for size, these do RUN SMALL so be warned. I am a woman’s 9 almost always, but a lot of reviews on this page said to order a size up so I did and thank gosh! The women’s 10 barely fit me, my heel goes right to the very edge of the shoe, otherwise I might have had to order 2 sizes up. Be careful when selecting your size! Beyond the sizing issues, the sandal itself is great and I wear it all the time. I would definitely purchase it again.

I live in flip flops in the summer but with planter fasciitis it's become harder and harder to find flip flops I can wear. I was looking for a flip flop that wouldn't make the heel pain worse. These fit the bill. I even think they're helping. As soon as I put these on I went "aahhh". So soft, so comfortable, and with good support for my flat feet. These run a little wide which is great for me. The straps hug your feet so you don't step out of these flip flops like so many others. The thong is a comfortable suede with the rest of the flip flop made of various foams and plastics. The look is not as girlie as I'd like but the comfort is great.

I have had numerous pair of crocs in my days. I love the flip flops. These wore a hole in my foot the first time I wore them - right where the band meets the instep on the inside of my foot. It only happened on my right foot (and my left foot is bigger - go figure). This is the only pair of croc flip flops that ever needed a breaking in period. They are becoming increasingly more comfortable, but thought I should mention it. Maybe don't go on a day trip away from home (and other shoes) the first day you wear these, just in case. Otherwise, they are a fun color, don't go flying off when you jog or jump or do a bit more than walk. I can walk up and down rocky inclines (not climbing Mt. Everest or anything) but they are good "off-road" flip flops too.

First, let me say that I clearly get that knocking off a star for stylishness on a pair of Croc flip clops is a bit ironic. They're Crocs, they're supposed to be ugly! Having said that, though, I do like these shoes. I bought them to replace an earlier pair of Croc Flops that I bought 3 or 4 years ago and which I have worn almost literally do death. Once I got used to the feeling of the footbed, I found I really liked it, and it's hard to beat a flip flop that is so rugged when you're the mom of 3 boys. I can wear them in sand, in the grass, on a gravel lane, through rain and mud puddles...it just doesn't matter, because I can hose them off and keep right on going! So when my original Croc flops got to the point that I was unwilling to wear them out of my own yard (again, after years of wear and tear!) I bought another pair, shown here. The newer Croc flops are still good, still sturdy and wel built, and still comfortable as can be. But there are 2 areas where I don't like them as well as my old ones. The first is the profile - these are wider and have less of a curve at the insole, and so they look a lot clunkier. The difference doesn't affect how they wear - they don't feel any more substantial than my old ones, they just don't look as nice and certainly not as feminine. Second, the strap on these is made of Croc material. My old pair, the strap was more fabric-like but still very durable. It was also a tad more narrow, so the resulting tan lines were less noticeable. Having said the above, these are still highly serviceable and comfortable, and I expect I'll wear them for several years!

I love the Crocs Modi Sandal. It's the softest, most cushy flip flop with a good arch support, best fitting sandal (for me). I wear an 8 1/2 M and the size 7M/9W is an excellent fit. I have plantar fasciitis, heel spurs & neuromas and live in these sandals from about April thru October and never have any foot pain (much more carefree, cool and cuter than orthotics!). This will be my 3rd or 4th summer in them and I have most all of the colors, so naturally I had to purchase these 2 new colors. Please Note: These ARE NOT ONLY MEN'S SANDALS, THEY ARE UNISEX ... GO DOWN 2 SIZES FOR WOMEN; I.e., W6/M8, W7/M9, W8/M10 etc. (I wear a M6/L8 in the original Athens, but take a size up in these. As usual, nothing but the best, fast service & packing from AMAZON. ;-)

I bought these because one of the other reviews cited them as helpful for those suffering from plantar faciitis. I must say that such claims are true. After wearing these sandals for a few days, the plantar faciitis which was plaguing me for months was a distant memory. I am not certain why I was suddenly cured but I tend to believe it might be tied to the arch support in the sandal. I also know that the splint which the doctor prescribed was nowhere near as effective. I wore these sandals all day for nearly two weeks and they always felt comfortable. They were also durable enough to endure strolls on a variety of surfaces such as coral, sand, pavement, and dirt. I will continue to wear the pair I've purchased and will probably order another as a back-up!

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan so I was using an APO AE address, It stated that it would take at least a month to get to the destination inputted, but I received it about a week and a half after I ordered it. The Flip Flops themselves are as described and are worth every penny I spent on them. I have to walk across gravel and concrete to get to the showers and I use them as shower shoes. The soles of the flip flop are very durable yet extremely comfortable to wear. These flip flops are worthy of the name Crocs.

Very comfortable, I am on my third pair of these. Last time i bought two pairs in case they stop making them. Living in HK and this is about the only thing I wear at the weekend (on my feet).
