Excellent head torch
I bought this after careful consideration of price vs brightness etc. I may use this for walks but so far gave used in the garden a few times. At the lowest setting you would have adequate light to carry out simple tasks- I forked out sprout plants, harvested kale, and lifted turnips about 7pm so pretty dark. There was a skiff of rain/sleet and cloudy. The figures suggest a long battery life on this setting, and not too bad at the next setting slso. There are a couple of brighter settings if you need, and perhaps you may need these if running in the dark. I did have a look at the max 700lm and short battery life at this setting, this suggests to me its not really designed for long use at this. If you need something this bright, get a higher lumen torch and use at lower settings. An advantage of this device is that it is fairly light on the head, using the 16360 (or something like that) rechargeable battery, and apparently it will also take similar non rechargeable ones too, so dusl power option. The more expensive headtorches have bigger batteries, heavier albeit more lumens. Switch feel fine and easy to use, casing is strong and you could remove and use as a hand torch, although it would be small in the hand. Nice grippy and reflective headband. So as a perfectly useful torch for many moderate situations, ie garden, dark walks it seems v good, and at 57 pounds I bought a spare battery and case, which added approx 15 pounds on.

Lightweight and very bright
I bought this for night time dog walking in the unlit countryside and it’s perfect. Very lightweight yet robustly made and comfortable to wear. It’s extremely bright and as a result it’s easy to see at least 30m ahead. Despite being out in the darkest of countryside I generally don’t need to use it on the brightest mode - the lower modes are plenty bright enough and I only switch it to full brightness if I need to see a longer distance. It charges quickly and the included battery lasts a long time.

Pleased
Good quality and as expected. Attaches well to band and good it's removable. Chose this above another as it is not a proprietary battery . Decent well reputed brand.

Fenix is likely the only brand of torch I would recommend from now on
In the current Amazon market where accurate lumen and battery like statistics don't matter because sellers just write the highest number they can think of, its good to see a manufacturer have reliable accurate numbers. Just an all round superb torch.
