It always smells super fresh. I mix this with cedar oil and use it my kitchen, and bathrooms, and trash cans. It keeps everything smelling good and clean, plus it keeps ants and other gross bugs away.

Everytime I order NOW Essential Oils, I am so happy. 100% what I expect.

I've used this + lemongrass oil + tea tree oil in aloe gel as an insect repellent, so far so good! I'm in the south on a tributary of the Mississipi River, so I'm very familiar with mosquitoes. You do have to reapply, and I've not tried it in water, but I do expect you'll need something more in water. It's all natural and it smells great.Safe for animals and children. I've started putting a couple drops in our dogs' shampoo. Fleas happen to hate lemon! I've used the chemicals and they always make me nervous, constantly hovering over my dogs to make sure that they don't have a bad reaction. The only bad reaction I get from this is that my dogs prefer to be stinky and try to find something disgusting to roll in right after baths, but they've always done that.It is food grade, but not palatable in my opinion. Maybe as a sub for zest but if you're looking for palatable lemon flavor, I'd go with lemon juice or lemons. Just my opinion.

My lemon essential oil arrived sealed and new so I felt comfortable with the packaging. Now brand is the closest to YG (at least so far from my experience). I did the paper test and it passed. For those who don't know, if an essential oil has been cut with a carrier oil (basically any oil other than the oils of what you ordered) you will know if you drop one drop onto a sheet of paper and in about an hour or so you still see the oil it's cut. You shouldn't see anything left on the paper. I like Lemon essential oil because it just smells fresh and just wakes me up a bit. Also some oils will say, "for external use only," which is another tell tell sign it's cut with something such as alcohol or something else you shouldn't ingest. Most essential oils that come from food products should be able to be ingested so beware of that. This one did not have that label which made me trust it even more after the paper test. Good product.

I have used this for along with peppermint for spiders...... - it sort of words but this has to resprayed eveyweek

We live in the country with lots of trees and lots of spiders that wish to make our home their home. We do not like to use toxic sprays either inside or out. This wonderful oil helps us reduce the spider web production around our doors and windows.Mix a few drops of mild liquid dish soap, 6-7 drops of this Now Foods Essential Lemon Oil with one quart of warm water. Stir to mix. Wet a cloth with the solution, wring out, wipe around windows frames and doors. I put several coats on the outside doors and it kept the spider webs off for 3 weeks. I can live with that little upkeep. I am now wiping it anywhere I find a spider web on the inside of the house. This is a log home so I have no idea about staining paint. No poisons, chemicals or bad smells and cheap.Greatest invention for those people who hate walking through spider webs.

This is my favorite lemon essential oil maybe ever. It smells AMAZING. I know that there is so much dispute over essential oils and where they come from, what grade they are, if they're mixed with fillers, etc... This is just as high quality as any of the expensive essential oils, and I have had zero problems ingesting it (in the form of drinks or sodas). I add a couple of drops to seltzer water for a refreshing beverage. I have been using this brand for years and I believe it to be of great quality. Additionally, I have used it as an additive to homemade cleansers and deodorizers. If you have a diffuser, here is my favorite citrus blend. It's great in the kitchen, and company will comment on how great it smells!"Cheer" blend:4 drops lemon3 drops lime3 drops grapefruit1 drop bergamot

Excellent oil. There are many ways I use it at home ( I use it in my fabric softener) for a fresh scent. Value for money is great
