3M - 6878 Spectacle Kit for 6000 Series Full Facepiece Respirator

If you wear a full face respirator and wear glasses, you need this. I was able to find a company online that would put my prescription lenses in for $40, and that included shipping both ways. This fits perfectly into my 3M respirator. They are very comfortable since no part of the spectacle kit actually touches your face.This set-up is far superior to my previous set-up with a half-face respirator and safety googles over my regular glasses. That setup was uncomfortable, and left gaps where dust and particles could get to my eyes. When I need protection for both my lungs and eyes, the full face respirator and spectacle kit is the way to go.The only negative I can think of is the price. This spectacle kit is quite expensive for a Chinese made plastic frame and a piece of wire.

Great product, 3m has you by the balls on price. Expensive for what they are, but what's the alternative? A leaky mask is no good.

Best price on these and they fit my 3M mask fine. They come with a case as well as a pattern for the lens and my optician says it's rare that frames come with that (made him happy)I've only been using 'cheater' readers for most of my work, so I wasn't expecting these would require an eye exam and ordering lenses, but I should have known that...

I can’t believe I spent $120.- for this junk... please don’t waste your money. It’s cheaply made impossible to install and all that without even the lenses. I setting lenses is also difficult as there is no clamp or screws. It’s just a plastic piece. What a rip off!All these Alternatives work, are better and way cheaper: in order of my own best results and value:#1 - get yourself a Nooz Optics armless pair of spectacles. They are great and can be worn under goggles and masks#2 - buy yourself a suction cup with clip on it and clip on a pair of old glasses without the arms#3 - build yourself a plastic hook from moldable plastic and/or wire to insert an old pair of glasses

This works great. It is just a glass frame like you get at the eye glass store so I took them to the store and he made lenses in under a day and after I got them positioned they work much better them my glasses.

A very firm setting for prescription lenses although it’s made of plastic. It’s quite expensive though.
