The Moon Seems to Change (Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science 2) Paperback – Picture Book, October 6, 2015

I used this book to teach about earth science.

I bought these for a couple of nieces and nephews to go with their Uncle Milton moon in my room globes that change phases with a remote control. All good stuff for a child to learn about the moon, earth and sun relationships. Laughingly, I am a much older astronomer that sometimes forgets how this works and so I bought me a copy too. It is laid out in an easy to understand format and the cartoons of the moon over the neighborhood houses are fun to look at. Who knew?

Any science book by Franklin Branley is worth buying. His books are easy for young children to read and comprehend and are packed with scientific facts.

This book was perfect with teaching my class another phases of the moon. There’s a lesson in Deanna Jump and Deedee Wills reading series in TpT.

No bends or rips.

It really helps the young inquiring mind learn about the moon. My almost 5 year old always wants this read. Also it tells you how to do a demonstration to show younger kids why the moon looks the way it does, why it changes. I'm glad we got this book!

Great book! We use this as a unit study for science.

This book provided a straight forward intro to the phases of the moon for my first graders. We did the experiment with the orange and it was very successful. The kids have enjoyed looking at it again and again.

Great fact book about the moon, with simple explanations

月のイメージが良く伝わる絵で2歳のこどもが気に入って毎日寝る前に2-3回読んで聞かせてます。たぶんまだ難しいところがありよくわかってはいないと思いますが、内容的にも無駄がなく良いと思います。同時期に購入したThe Moon Book (Avenues)　by Gail Gibbonsよりも内容や絵がシンプルで気に入っています。

We have most of the Level 1 books. They are a great introduction to science for little children. The only reason these don't get five stars is because a slightly bigger font size would have made these books excellent.

Great book for kids but perhaps the language could be more child friendly.
