Our five year old male cat has been having issues going on the litter mats, right outside of our two litter boxes, for the past few years. He’s gotten progressively worse and it’s been daily now. I wasn’t sure how this product would work with the Purina Tidy Cats Breeze litter system, an awesome system, that uses pellets and has the removable urine tray. The smell is like an herbal scent. Like maybe lavender or sage. I wasn’t sure how our cats would react to the scent, but they used the box as soon as we poured it on. We sprinkled generously inside each box, on top of the pellets. It’s been several days and he’s gone only in the litter boxes every time. We can’t believe it! I’ll be stocking up on it now so we can keep our boy inside.

This actually worked! I was skeptical and extremely desperate. I had just adopted my 1 year old cat from the shelter and he didn’t want to use the litter box. I was a day away from taking him back to the shelter because I can’t have a cat peeing a popping all over my home and destroying everything. I bought this and some cat nip as a last ditch effort (after getting a new litter box and unscented litter etc). I sprinkled a generous amount of this with some cat nip into his box and it was like wizardry - HE USED THE LITTER BOX! I sprinkled this in for the following two weeks and now I don’t have to anymore, it’s been 6 weeks, he’s only gone in the box! This stuff is like magic! I’m so glad I tried it! I used it with Tidy Cat Clumping Litter, not sure if that makes a difference.

didn't work for my cat in this particular situation, but i don't want to discourage others from trying, cats are finicky.

Have a new kitten that was not always peeing inside the box. We sprinkled some of this on the cat litter and problem is gone! Highly recommend, great price, easy to use.

I honestly can't tell if it works or not. I've used a bottle and a half now, over the span of a month. But it really doesn't seem to have been what made the difference, but I can't say for sure. Unfortunately he had urinary issues going on during this time as well, which now that it's been treated he doesn't seem to have the same issues

Got this for feral cat that i brought in house just before major snow storm, sprinkled a good amount over fresh step litter in box. Hoped it would work. Nope, a un neutered male peed and pooped on floor , on blanket. Oh the stank. Lol Did not work. What did work was potting soil and some leaves over litter and mixed in. Worked like a charm. After 2 weeks it was just litter.

I got a self-cleaning litterbox that my cat wouldn't even approach. It had a little bit of wobble, and I think that was the main issue my cat had with it. About two weeks passed and the cat hadn't so much as stepped in the box. I was about to give up, and then I found this. I had my cat watch as I generously dumped it in the box. She came over and sniffed it and started rubbing against the box while I gave her a ton of attention. She got plenty of pets and scratches and praise whenever she approached the new litterbox. She still wouldn't go in, but it was progress. At around day 3 of using the cat attractant she finally peed. Happiest day of my life. Also, it's not catnip. Before I got this, I had tried mixing in actual catnip and that wasn't enough to get my cat to get in the box.

My cat started pooping (and twice, peeing) just outside her litter box. I think she may have been having some tummy troubles with her food, but then even when that settled down, she still kept "missing" her box. I bought this Fresh Step litter attractant AND a larger litter box, and the combination of the two-- sprinkling a generous amount of this attractant in her new, larger, box -- helped immediately. She hasn't had any problem pooping or peeing outside the box since, and that was a month and a half ago. So I am not sure if this product would have worked only by itself, but as soon as I used it (I sprinkled some in the back of the box, so she would have to go all the way in ) she was definitely curious, went in, did her business successfully and we haven't had a problem since. I hope sharing my story helps someone else having a similar issue.

The reason I bought this was to mix in my cats litter tray as she has been of late doing her poo business outside the corner of the litter tray. I made sure her litter tray mix was non scented and mixed around a tablespoon full of product in the cat litter tray. Low and behold she is now doing her poos in her litter tray and not outside the tray. She immediately started sniffing her litter in the tray and after a while I noticed she had done her business as she should do normally. I am so pleased as it worked and I don’t have to pick up any accidents outside her litter box. I also looked up u tube videos for advice on what other people did with their cats behaviour. That’s where I saw the above product recommended. I’m over the moon and thank you so much.

Very happy with this product! I had a foster-kitten that suddenly decided to stop using litter bin. (She turned out to not be ill) and when we used this it got her back on the right track! The other were attracted to the scent too!
