Perfect brushes
Always love the Princeton Heritage series of brushes. Holds plenty water and a nice pointed tip for good control. Came with protective solid plastic sleeve over bristles so was in perfect condition to start painting right away. Can to go wrong with these brushes.

Yes! Its a really good Size 2 Round!
I purchased this style (heritage) as recommended by Jenna Rainey, watercolor artist and author. I'd purchased another style by Princeton, and the tip quickly lost its point,... although I care for my brushes well. As I go through one of Rainey's books, Ifound her specific recommendations and decided to up my chances for success, and purchased the Princeton Heritage size 2 Round brush. Its terrific and comes to a great point. I've used it daily since arrival.... today espectially. Not as thirsty as some, but it has great spring and hold ample paint for my needs. I'm delighted with this brush.I have only been painting about 6 months, but I see the real need for quality brushes, ... quailty paint and quality paper.Attached is a piece I did yesterday and used the Princeton Heritage size 2 round brush at least half the time. The picture is just practice,.. submitted for reference.

Heritage and Aqua elite
i love all princeton watercolor brushes, i have several aqua elite in different sizes, mostly round and a few flats. I decided to try the .heritage model after hearing from my friends. I thought they would be a little stiff for me., but they are the perfect combination of stiff hair and excellent water retention. They are also excellent at releasing the water as well. I think ill collect a few more sizes . occasionally i want a stiffer brush but not too stiff. NOw i still use my aqua elite most of the time but the heritage gives me a slightly stiffer brush that still lets go of the water perfectly. i really believe that a combination of these 2 models by Princeton you would have the perfect combination for all watercolor painting.

Precise and Loose Painting
Really like these brushes and was surprised because I normally use natural brushes. Perfect for more precise or loose watercolor painting.

Great brush
Excellent brush for watercolors. Highly recommend.the brushes are the best and hold up under my painting. They stay together and don’t fluff. Truly the best for watercolor.
