I started eating pistachios in the shell on road trips but they are so dang expensive. So I started buying in bulk. These are that that tasty snack to keep you busy on a long drive, or I just have about a cup a day. This brand has been Wonderful, pun intended. The resealable bag does tear when I open them sometimes so I just dump it all into 1 gallon plastic bag with zipper slider. The value outweighs the resealability issue for me since everything else I found isn't resealable anyway. Not enough to deduct even half a star. They are too salty for my wife to bite open, but she likes to open them with her fingers and only eat the nut. I like to pop a few in my mouth at a time. They make a light salt version too, as well as a chili version. By time I made it through 48 oz of the chili one I went back to regular salt. This is probably good for people quitting smoking.

Love these for a little snack especially, at night. Pistachios are such a healthy snack. They're so good for your heart, have a low glycerin index meaning the don't cause sugar spikes. They're a great snack for diabetics. They can improve insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. They also reduce inflammation, cause of cardiovascular disease. But, eat the ones in the shell to keep from eating too many at a time.
