This book is really great! I’ve been learning Japanese for two years now and I found this set a great aid! It’s really up to date and starts off where you’d want at the beginning and makes it a lot easier to learn! The way the book is laid out is really helpful - worth the money

Great introductory textbook
Really good textbook, especially in conjunction with the workbook. I am currently self-studying and I find this a fantastic companion for independent learning. Clear descriptions and explanations, vocabulary is also broken down in cohesive chunks, making learning not too overwhelming.

Un libro para comenzar
Este libro empieza por lo más básico y está muy bien estructurado. Los primeros temas se utilizan solo el hiragana y katakana y a partir del tema 3 ya te van incluyendo kanjis poco a poco. Viene con un Workbook para hacer ejercicios extra en cada tema. Además, te puedes bajar una aplicación totalmente gratuita para escuchar los audios del libro. El único problema es que no viene con soluciones.
