Medium Blue Original Rockford Red Heel Socks

Okay, so I'm probably 1 out of 100 people who buy these socks just to wear them and not make sock monkeys. That being said, I'm not at all disappointed that I did! Every time I go to wear my rain/snow boots I always wind up having to borrow a pair of my husbands work socks. I'm sure he loves me having to do this about as much as I did, so I decided to finally wise up and buy some boot-worthy socks of my own! Enter the Rockford Red Heel Socks by Fox River.I figured if these socks are sturdy enough (and soft enough) to make a sock monkey, they should definitely make a good pair of boot socks. Well, I was happily correct with my assessment, and I absolutely love them! I got my first pair in blue (first 2 pairs actually, since these come in packs of 2) and I believe I just may treat myself to some more pairs in the other available colors!So, in closing, while I can't attest to their monkey making value, (which I'm sure is terrific since these ARE the sock monkey sock of choice!)I can tell you that they're a very sturdy and comfortable sock! Not too bulky, but thick enough to keep your foot warm in bad weather!

I ordered this so I could make some blue sock monkeys for a friend and I am incredibly pleased. The order came in on time and was very nicely packaged. It's also very handy because a sock monkey making guide comes with the socks, which is a nice addition. Also, I missed it so this is why I'm telling you it comes with 2 pairs of socks, not just one. Score! So in the end I would say for the quality of shipping, of the product, and the amount of socks it is a very good deal and I would recommend it to anyone.

I like that they came so fast. I use these socks for sock animals, so I couldn't say anything about softness or wearing ability.

The description did not specify that the package contained TWO pairs; I therefore ordered 2 packs and have 4 pairs.Purchased for making sock monkeys - so fit is not an issue.

Size was not important for my purchase - these are just what I needed for my project - a sock elephant!
