Great helmet
Bought this as an upgrade from a downhill mountain bike full face helmet. It's definitely heavier ( I think its nearly 5 lbs?) but wow you feel much safer with this and it's so much more comfortable. The airflow is great. I will say though when it's hot and you're sweating a little if you aren't moving the lenses fog up FAST which is dangerous and I really don't like that but at least you can flip the visor up easily.Very comfortable. Oh I will say there's a terrible sound echo inside the helmet. If you raise your voice to talk to people through the helmet it's like you're yelling at yourself inside the helmet which I also don't like. Still worth it though for the price.

Saved my head
I bought this helmet to take my riding lessons in 2021. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a helmet til I knew if I would continue and could learn more about what would best fit me. I went one size up, from LG->XL and it fit comfortably. Eventually, the longer I wore it, the more it hurt from pressing on my forehead. I removed the padding and used an ice cream scoop to compress the front and back of the foam. Then I was able to wear it all day before it started hurting. Size-wise, it was great. I put in speakers and still had room to wear Earpods and there was plenty of space to slide glasses in and out with the helmet on. I was even using a strap to hold my glasses in the right place with no problem.Pros: You can't beat the price. Well built. I like the yellow because it is better for the heat but more visible than white. Spacious without being too loose. Quick release buckles are the best; can even clip it with one gloved hand (sometimes) if I forget before I take off. The face shield and shade operate easily. I even use the shade with sunglasses when heading into the sun.Cons: Main problem I encountered is the shield fogs when it rains and only solution is to crack it open a notch. Thankfully, the shield stayed in place when open. I wish there was more air flow. Can barely tell a difference between vents open and closed.I can't comment on the noise level: 1 because I've had nothing to compare it to, 2 I always ride with noise canceling ear pods, and 3 my road tourer blocks most of the wind. I will say this; I gave up using the bluetooth headset because the headset wouldn't let me raise the volume so I could hear anything above the wind noise above 60 mph. I recommend getting NC ear pods or wearing ear plugs just to save your hearing anyway.Over the years I've tried on other helmets, just for a fit check, Bilt, Schubert, Shoei, et al and none of them felt as comfortable as my ILM, so I never traded up.Now, The Best Part: I recently ran off the road at a curve going about 65 mph and rolled several times (I wasn't really counting) down the ditch and the helmet stayed on and did what it was supposed to. I had no head or neck injury! (I had Bohn armor on, in case you're interested.) The only injury I sustained was a broken Tibia and misaligned ankle from a 600 lb motorcycle landing on my ankle. I count myself extremely lucky. After that, the helmet was seriously scratched up and the shield hinge didn't function well and one of the black vent pieces came loose. At that point, I felt I had gotten my money's worth out of it and was more than happy to replace it. I might just replace it with the same one, though I might try on a few others in the same price range to see what feels the best. So, if you have an intermediate oval head, and you're considering buying this, and the Cons aren't deal breakers, I encourage you to consider it. Good for one good wreck, then replace it, and hope you never have to replace it!

Great Value
I've only had the helmet for 1 day and one short test ride but so far I am impressed with the quality and fit.It seems to be a well designed and built helmet. The tinted visor lever works smoothly and is easy to find even with gloves.Fitment wise it is good, but the only drawback as others have said is the cheek pads fit tight, but I'm hoping I can iron them down a little. I'm a skinny guy so I could see how it would be uncomfortable for someone with a "puffier" face. My wife wants a matching helmet but with the tightness of the cheek pads this one would be a tough sale for her.Works good for me though!

Affordable and very sturdy v ol HJC
This is really a nice helmet my last was a HJC and this one is much less and so much sturdier. My only issue was the removal flap just under the chin. My face is too big for the XL I guess but it was pretty easy to remove. Other than that its a very nice helmet. I have pics of it with an even cheaper helmet I picked up at Ali' or some such place and realized I had cheaped out too much They both fit my head but you can tell the difference in padding between the two. Very happy and prolly pick another one up for the lady.

Like it 👍
Probaby one of the best , if not the best helmet at this price point.I was looking for a modular helmet that I can daily so I can get my eyeglasses on easier vs a full-face.It's comfortable (lining feels like my Scorpion R1). Comes with a quick-release too which i really like vs the traditional strap. The light at the back is an added bonus. I did a custom Kawasaki 40th anniversary colorway on mine to match my bike

Well made helmet
I rather like everything about this helmet except for a couple of minor things. After ordering an XL, it was still necessary to remove the padded 3 snaps inner liners to have a more comfortable fit. It's quite sturdy and looks great. The airflow is adequate. The instructions are so so. The red helmet light on the rear doesn't seem to work. I have the white helmet & am impressed. As it's winter and can't use the padded liner, my winter soft knit stretchy ski hat is great.I especially like the dark goggle as it fits lower on my face and completely covers my glasses with room to spare.Helmet seems to be very functional.
