I'm NOT a professional aesthetician. My experience is limited to my own body. Over the past couple of decades I've tried several brands: the kind that is WAY more expensive and heats in the microwave, to beads in a jar from the cosmetics specialty store, and now this. My favorite so far? THIS! It melts easily in my electric wax melter. I found a relatively low temperature to be best. No need to burn yourself! I was able to spread this more thinly than I could other brands I've tried. And while I could use a pre-wax oil or light dusting of corn starch before waxing, it wasn't necessary. I had no trouble removing the wax (and hairs) with and without a pre-wax treatment. The wax catches short fine hairs (one week lip/chin growth) and longer ones. Lip/chin, legs, and underarms, all perfectly waxed. No cloying scent, no cracking or breaking (it's nice and flexible). In the future I'll try finding this in a larger package size (sold out when I was buying). And I look forward to trying this brand's other types (white chocolate has particularly caught my attention). This amateur highly recommends this product!

I once used the Sally Hansen brand wax with the matching warmer. It was so far the best wax I'd found. You had to develop an 'art' for using it, but it worked, it didn't burn, it didn't stick to your skin. I've had some terrible experiences with waxes over the years! But then Sally Hansen discontinued their wax line! This wax was recommended to me by someone who was trying to find a new source for heated wax. I was weary- it's so cheap by comparison! But I took the plunge... The bag of beads I received filled a glass milk jug to the top- way more than I anticipated! I cleaned my wax warmer out completely and set them in to heat. They melt quickly and efficiently. The warm wax is a lovely gold color akin to honey. It has a mild sweet smell. It applied very easily and cooperatively. The old wax was very liquidy-drippy when hot and dried very quickly into a crusty solid mess, so you had to work with finesse. This stuff stayed agreeably thick and even when cool remained pliable and peelable; no gooey drips or breaking chunks! The one blob that managed to drip on the counter (only because I got distracted) peeled right off with no fuss. The old was would weld to things and have to be chiseled off! Everything I heard about the wax was so far true! It left no funny smell or residue on my skin, no stickiness. So the last test; allegedly you didn't have to trim longer hair before waxing with this brand. I will attest to that! Very few broken hairs, very little discomfort, no wax getting matted up in long hair... Just apply and pull. And it all comes out. I'm totally thrilled!

This is a really great hard wax, especially for beginners. The texture is smooth and easy to work with, making application very manageable even if you’re new to waxing. It melts evenly and doesn’t get too stringy (the video showing it would not upload), which I appreciated. The scent is also very pleasant. It grips the hair well without being too harsh on the skin, so the overall experience was much more comfortable than expected. Definitely a product I would recommend if you’re just starting out.

So I purchased these some time ago because I ran out of my other beads and couldn’t remember the brand. I will say this I was skeptical about them because of the reviews, but I don’t know what everyone else is talking about. I bought these because I refuse to pay $50 for someone to wax me when I can do it on my own for cheaper. First off I am a picky perfectionist. When I tell you the beads work good and I had no problems. I have thick hair so when I wax I need a thick layer and a good consistency to avoid multiple go’s, but I didn’t have to do that with this wax. You can make it thin as you want without having to worry about you skin having a lot of damage ( for my sensitive skin people). They last long and no bad scent to them. The only thing I will say is when I got it it was a tad melted together in the bottom, but hey you’re gonna melt them anyway. I removed mine from the original packaging and put it in a zip lock to make it more convenient. I will by again I had no issues. Easy melt for fast waxing process, No smell, long last (like seriously 2 lbs for a good price), and can make it thin without damage to the skin. 4.9/5 because you never know when wax will become free and everything is always improving.

Best Wax I’ve tried so far between, shoppers drug mart, Walmart, Sally’s and Amazon. Very nice consistency. Surprisingly not as painful as other wax beads I’ve bought in the past. Nice sheer application, wax does not harden on your skin not break off while peeling. Highly Recommend buying!

Been using this for years. The only kind I buy…. But the price will jump around a lot. I’ve seen it for $65 each. When it’s cheaper (under $30) I’ll stock up!

Brought a year ago for £15 and was really good wax but won't be buying again due to crazy price rise!

I have bought cheap wax beads in the past which resulted in many ugly burns. However, these wax beads are amazing quality. They don’t harden super quick like other wax beads which is a major pro. They also last quite a while depending on how often you wax.
