Excellent Value!
About a year ago my wife had a stroke and lost 100% use of her right side. She was using a wheelchair that we bought in the Philippines (where she had the stroke). It was no longer practical for her current situation. This wheelchair is fantastic. Easy for her to get in and out of alone. She can move around herself with just the use of her left arm and leg. When I am pushing her, the footrests are very comfortable and easy to remove/swivel. If I am pulling her backwards, I can do so with one hand, it turns easily and in a tight radius. The wheel locks are easy for her to set and release herself, even with only the use of one hand. The padded seat and back is comfy and the Velcro is very secure. The chair folds very easily, is light weight and easy to put into the car. It can be lifted with one hand. Very strong. We don't worry about it breaking/bending. It costs more than most of the chairs I saw posted, but this is well worth the money and we don't regret buying this chair at all. She loves it!

Great wheelchair. Very lightweight and sturdy.
I fell and shattered my femur and the hip prosthetic that I had because of AVN, avascular necrosis of the hip. Well, shattering my brittle bones was a fear that became a reality. I am missing about 7 inches of bone in the femur. They made a special prosthetic held together with rods and plates and a ton of screws. I had to be non-weight bearing for about 10 months then another three months while learning to walk again. This wheelchair was just perfect. I have mild paralysis of the left side. I can even roll in it by myself. A gentle spin takes me half way down my hallway! It is so light weight, sturdy and comfortable. It will last me decades as it is so well made.

Best wheelchair!
This wheelchair is AMAZING! It's comfortable and moves around with ease. It is also light enough for me to be able to pick it up with one hand.

Lite Weight
Lite weight, comfortable, but too small, so did not fit my needs.LLL

Not a bad option for most.
It’s been a lovely wheelchair for the price. I’ve been using it for quite some time now. I’m entirely immobile at the moment without the assistance of my spouse to transfer. I’ve recently developed quite the sore on my backside that’s made everything painful, but I am still thankful that I made this purchase. I’ve been wheelchair bound before, and hated to have to take this step again. I am glad I did when I did. I took a turn for the worse the day before it arrived. I do use a pillow or cushion under where I sit for comfort purposes, but this was a quality purchase. With the progression of my situation, I am considering making an upgrade, but that’s a difficult decision as that would be expensive and unwieldy for my partner to deal with. Doing my best to get by, and this is not a poor choice for a midrange wheelchair. Depending on your specific issues, you may appreciate a small pillow for your backside, or a contoured pillow if it’s more serious. But I don’t find it to be a bad choice. It’s helped me a lot.

The perfect Ultra lightweight chair!
I saw someone say this was cheaply made. Not so! It is a lightweight chair. Something I needed badly as I'm struggling to pull the old one into the car nowadays. This chair is perfect! I had polio as a baby and cannot stand or walk. My chair is my legs. I require something dependable. This chair is it! I added the tip bars at the back and chose swing-away removable footrests but chose molded armrests that don't move as I put a great pressure on them while lifting myself to dress or transfer. The chair came with padded upholstery and ergonomic that make it very comfortable and since I'm sitting from 5 a.m. until I go to bed at night, this too is important. Another feature that came with the chair was brake handles that fold! I've never seen this before. It's a wonderful feature! When I I'm doing laundry, cooking or cleaning, I need to be able to roll all the way up to cabinets or machines. I move my legs out of the way, fold the breaks down and press them forward under my legs to apply them fully. It works great! I have had my chair now for a couple of months and I love it. I am so thankful to have it. I highly recommend the Carmen S-115 25 lb ultralight ergonomic wheelchair. As with any wheelchair, it is important to use grabbers instead of Reaching Forward for things because overreaching and / or putting extra pressure into the footrests can cause the chair to tip forward. This is true of every chair I have had. Use common sense and do not over reach and you will be fine.

Great value for the money
Can’t say enough good things about this product. Sturdy, I weigh 200 pounds. Used it 18 hours a day for over two months after ankle surgery. Rolled easily, sat comfortably, my spouse said it was “no problem to take it in our suv. He could fold it or leave it opened up.

Deceptive Advertising by KARMAN
The Karman Box is undoubtedly confusing to Amazon. The printing on the box shows the seat width as 18" (inches). But it also shows wheel size as F24 (not in inches), which tricks Amazon into advertising that this wheelchair has 24 INCH wheels. But when I actually measured the actual wheel diameter with my Amazon Basics tape measure, THESE WHEELS ARE 22 INCHES in diameter, NOT 24. I chose this wheelchair BECAUSE it was supposed to have the larger 24's (because that would mean more leverage). It was a lot of extra work to re-box it, and drive it to the UPS Store. I am disappointed. Amazon, please MEASURE these wheels and correct the ad.
