    Convenient, but pricey and lacks alternatives for gas-prone babies

    I have been using the Babynes for a few months, and for the most part, I love the system and concept. My one complaint is that the formula may be giving my son gas, and there are no alternatives available for this machine.  On the website, Gerber advertises the "Soothe" formula pods which are supposedly more gentle, but they are never in stock/not available yet.Another issue is that the pods are too big and we end up wasting quite a bit of formula--sometimes we refrigerate that which he doesn't drink, but sometimes it's been too long and might spoil, so we toss it. For instance,  for the 3 month formula, it produces a 7 ounce bottle and he's only able to drink 4-5 at this stage.I give the Amazon site 4 stars only because they constantly are out of stock of Babynes formula. So far I haven't run out, but I buy way ahead and just store it at home, in case Amazon sells out, which is often.

    I was hesitant to use formula for our newborn, but we ended up having to supplement with that.  I’ve read all the reviews and talked to my mom friends, and found the babynes formula and machine was one of the best and easiest options… and having used it so much - I’m so glad we decided to go with it!  The formula tastes good and provides the nutrients our baby has needed.  The formula and machine both have been such a lifesaver for us, and makes feeding time so easy.

    Love the product, but out of the three boxes we’ve used, on average 7 capsules out of each box don’t work.  This makes the cost of the product too expense to offset the convenience.
