They are better tasting than the regular ones. But may arrive in crumbs if not boxed.
Ordered many times. Always great taste. I've loved them since buying so many FAmos out of the vending machines. But twice not the package has arrived in just a sealed amazon plastic envelope. Like the current one I just got. No protection or bubble wrap. Needless to say there is little but crumbs so I'm eating the like the last crumbs in a bag and pouring them into my mouth. Now don't get me wrong when they come with other items and are in a box they are perfectly good. But an envelop. Well .. JS

AMOS'S BELGIAN COOKIES
I would like to have been up for a 5 star review, but instead it's just this.Having ordered and consumed many Famous Amos brand cookies, I know their history. This is not a defining moment.Slowly but surely within the last few years corners have been cut in production quality. As the pictures may help to paint a picture for your taste buds, only you will know for sure.I used a neutral back drop for staging purposes to give wiggle room for the imagination. Even putting quarters to guesstimate the size and proportion. As the picture on the package leaves no doubt for the chocolate chips popping up and out of their Belgian Cookies, the honeymoon is over when comparing the actual product within the bag. These cookies were manufactured, not baked with Grandma's blessings.I had bought two bags at half the price they go for now. See the expiration date for shelf life. It's early August, of 23,do the math.It took me to now,for opening this second bag and writing a review. It is for the department labeled as marketing and some lower forms of logistics that these Famous Amos cookies are small and weakly looking. Almost anemic in some sense where the love of baking has been lost. Dialing back the recipes and cutting every corner possible to make more money screams loss of taste and size for this once screaming cookie. What milk would be seen with this wannabe cookie.Thank you marketing, for losing one of my favorite cookies and their taste. Oh, please don't forget about having almost doubled the cost while losing the taste.Even though this is only one man's opinion, I can hope someone at the factory reads this and changes back to baking with love of the work you do. The results will be more sales and happier customers. If the cookies inside the bag looked and tasted like that dreamy cookie on the outside of the bag, I would be posting 10 stars. Fell me?

Best store bought
If you're not making your own, and want a small crunchy chocolate chip cookie, these are the best! I can't believe they'll be discontinued. The Belgian chocolate is so much richer than the 'original' one'.When I ordered a large qty, they came in a box with little protection. But the cookies do not appear to have been damaged. When I ordered one bag, it came in a soft pack envelope, luckily they were not *damaged. (*Not too smart, Amazon.)To Famous Amos - big mistake discontinuing the Belgian cookie.

Crumby, but still a decent snack
The bag I received had almost all whole cookies, yet all of them were coated with a crumby dust, which was a little messy and annoying. They tasted pretty good, but- aside from the dust- my reason these aren't a 5/5 for me is that I think the original Famous Amos are better; I can't put my finger on why, but I can say that the chocolate used in these didn't strike me as being superior-enough to sway my preference.
