LOVE it!
I wanted to wait a little while to write a review so that I had time to make several different things in my new Yedi. I absolutely LOVE this product. I had seen Insta Pots out and had not paid much attention. Then one day a friend of mine posted a pic of a dish she had made in her Insta Pot for dinner and said how fast it was cooked. I thought ok I gotta look into this more. I cook for my family nearly daily but don't always have the time it takes for some recipes. I started researching this method of cooking and decided I had to buy a pressure cooker myself. I went with the Yedi due to all the added bonus items that came with it liked the steamer, egg rack, glass lid, etc... Reviews were great as well. Let just say I am hooked on this cooker! I now have fast and perfect hard boiled eggs. I've always loved hard eggs but hated the pot boiling process and hoping they'd peel easy after. Now they always peel perfectly for me. I cook healthier meals and steaming veggies is now a breeze and come out like high end restaurant quality. I have also done several hot dishes, pastas, etc.... so fast and easy. Seems to even infuse the flavor of seasonings into rice and pasta much better than stove top or oven baking too. While it can be used as a slow cooker as well. I have not used it for that as of yet as I have great slow cooker and just haven't slow cooked anything since I got this. I will try it out in the future thought. Oh and saute' works great too, I often brown meats or saute ingredients in it before pressure cooking. Nice to be able to do it all in one pot and not have to dirty several pots/pans. This is the best gift I have bought myself in 2 years! The gift that keeps on giving. I just hope it keeps on working for a looooong time.

Awesome!! with caveat
This is my first instant pot pressure cooker. So far I have been impressed. They seem to have great customer service. I received a couple of emails from the company-- one to make sure I found the glass lid in the packing box, and another to see that I was happy and the pot was working out for me. Seems like a good sign. I selected this pot for a few reasons. Firstly (and most important), because it has a two year warranty instead of the 'one year' or 'no warranty' with other pots. Second because it came with all the extras for no extra price, and third because I found it on 'lightning sale' for $72 dollars. It was a super steal. When it arrived, my first impression was that it seems fairly sturdy, heavy, and well built. The only thing I didn't like was the seal to the front part of the digital display. See photo. However, this seal is no different than seals like that on other pots and digital appliances. And I am excited by the level of the customer service so far. The inner pot is sturdy and has a nice thick bottom, which really helps in even cooking with any pot. See photo. It cooks quite well. It is so neat to be able to cook things so fast. I love it. So far it cooks like a dream. It arrived only a couple of days ago, and already I am using it a few times a day. I have already put a second Yedi Pot on my wishlist for the future. I find that I use it so often, that I sometimes need another while I am using it. I have learned that if I forget to close the pressure valve while using the pressure cooking feature, the pot will over-heat and give an error message. That happened once, when I was learning to use it. Luckily, a quick internet search for "error code 6" and I was able to figure out the error of my ways, and the pot got right back to cooking. I will be purchasing a second. Update Aug 23 2019: Old-fashioned customer service. They stand behind their product. I purchased a second Yedi and ended up having a problem with it. Customer service was great! It has been a long time since companies had the business model of "repeat business through client satisfaction!!" So many now-a-days seem to have the attitude, "we have your money ha ha ha!!!" Another reviewer suggested that "Instant Pot and Yedi are manufactured by the same company, so best bet it to get whichever is on sale." I disagree with that. Customer service is important. GO with the two year warranty and the company (Yedi), that will take care of you!

Good enough.
Love it. Little confused in the beginning but manageable. Cooks nicely.

LOVE IT!
Works perfectly, easy to use, easy to clean- I use the dishwasher for the pot itself, all the accessories, and the lid (make sure to take off the sealing ring, splash guard, and knob), wipe down the base and you’re good to go! The accessories are awesome- I use the little silicone “gloves” all over the kitchen. I prefer this Yedi brand over my original InstaPot brand and it is used at least 5 times a week in my kitchen. It cuts down cook time a great deal, just be prepared for it to build pressure- this can take a while depending on what you’re cooking. I especially love it for making soups, stews, broths, rice (don’t forget to oil the pot), beans, “boiled” eggs, veggies (season the water at the bottom and make sure the veggies are not touching any water or they get mushy), baked potatoes, the list goes on and on!! You can even precook veggies and ground meats with the sauté and then add your other ingredients and set it to go instead of browning meat or softening veggies on the stove. Its good for meats (even from frozen), just make sure you take advantage of the sauté feature to sear it for max flavor. Do not put anything with skin in it- it gets super gross. And you can always throw the meat in the oven for a quick 5 min broil to round out the sear/ color after it’s done in the instant pot. There are ENDLESS recipes online to keep things interesting. It is just great for freeing up your hands and attention so that you can work on other components of the dish or meal. Works as crockpot too and has a “keep warm” feature. I love it and would recommend it to everyone!! From a college student, to using it at the office, cooking with limited space, cooking for holidays, and just regular use to cook for your family! Cannot rave enough!

Crocpot runs hot; but pressure cooker works well
I enjoy my Yeti, it's lasted me 2 years now (my Ninja crocpot broke before this and wasn't that old so I was bummed), but you have to be especially careful with the crocpot function because it cooks very fast, I had a large roast in 3 1/2 hours on medium and it was overcooked, hard to cut, but same experience on slow also. I learned you have to keep checking the temperature and stay on top of it for tender meat and even then it'll probably be done on slow mode in 3 hours and because it cooks fast it is never quite as tender as you might typically imagine from a normal crocpot especially with beef, and personally, I do miss my older style crocpot where food slowly cooked over 8 hours and everything shredded with a fork easily, (less maintenance) because I want to be able to leave my crocpot and come home to it,, but I cannot. However this has so many other great functions, I make other foods in here, especially homemad soups/stews which has its own settings, so if you need it primarily for the pressure cooker and the other various settings, you will enjoy it, and it lasts, and comes with a nice cookbook of ideas/quality oven mitts, etc., and shipping was on time. If you are relying on it more for a crocpot, just keep in mind you may need another backup depending on your preferences. Just my experience! Hope this helps.

A Wise Decision All Around
I am ecstatic about this pressure cooker! I originally bought it to save money and eat more at home. This made it fun and I can get creative! So far, I have made rice, fish and two different chicken dishes. They are all extremely flavorful and have all been completely done in 12 minutes or less. This is with the exception of prep, but I don’t mind the prep part at all. You can pull up recipes even if they are meant for other devices. They all work very similarly. I’m happy to have supported this specific brand because it seems as though it’s a little more mom and pop in a sense that it’s less known than Instant Pot. I found it very easy to use and I do not consider myself a tech person. I just took a few moments to read the manual upfront and from there, I just followed directions. I highly recommend this to eat healthy, save money and enjoy the act of self love that is cooking for ones self. Also, if I had a family, I would be using the hell out of this thing. It always makes enough to feed multiple people and again, time efficient! It is extremely easy to clean as well. I also enjoy that I can begin to wash some dishes as things are cooking. One thing I have noticed… And this is still a very new product for me, I recommend searing chicken using the sauté setting, before following the remainder of the recipe. I prefer to have a little texture to the skin. Other than that, I love everything about this thing! I get excited about what I’m going to make next! In salmon photo: everything was made in the Yedi with the exception of the Brussels sprouts—which I did on the stove top.

Very Glad I Bought this Cooker
Look, I'm just a basic guy. When I cook something, it has to be fairly simple but I also want it to taste good. Usually it doesn't. While I like to eat "gourmet," I don't have near the patience or interest to cook that way. I have made up a recipe I call a "beef stew chili." I throw in some bell peppers, onion, jalapeno, cayenne pepper, etc. - you get the idea - and then throw in a couple of pounds of beef stew meat. Usually this recipe comes out with rubbery meat, even it I cook it in a slow cooker. I've tried braising this and sauteing that, but it still comes out rubbery. When I made this recipe in the Yedi, the meat came out amazingly tender - a first for me - and I didn't have to do anything fancy to get it that way. Plus the whole thing tasted great. Another first. I have since tried a couple of other recipes and they came out surprisingly good. Honestly, I can't believe I made them. So, if you are a basic guy like me, you will really appreciate this product. Not a lot of preparation, fast cook time, and not much to clean up. I bought this particular unit on the strength of the customer reviews and find I agree with the 9 out of 10 customers who rate this product 5 stars. But I did note at the time I made the purchase that it didn't have much in the way of accessories. Now that I've found I truly like this cooker and seem to be using it all the time, I wrote off to the company asking if the various accessories made for the 6 quart Instant Pot would also work with my Yedi. The interesting and impressive thing was that I wrote my inquiry on a Sunday late afternoon and got a reply within an hour from Bobby Djavaheri, Vice-President, Yedi Houseware. This, my friends, is customer service when you have a C-level officer responding to a run of the mill user questions on a Sunday no less. Actually, I was a little shocked. (But happy since he told me that all of the Instant Pot 6 qt. accessories would, in fact, work on the Yedi, so actually we have plenty of accessories to choose from.) In summary, it appears to me that the product is of high quality and works well. And it appears that the company is responsive and very well managed. The bottom line is that I think I made a good decision in selecting the Yedi for purchase. And as long as my rudimentary recipes keep coming out like they have so far, I will be a happy little camper.

Very pleased - used it a lot in less than a month! Updated 3-4-2019
I researched a LOT of different pressure cookers and multi-cookers, and finally decided to get the Yedi one. Glad I did. Last night, I made Wild Rice with Morel Mushrooms in it. What an easy operation! The saute feature is great, as I was able to saute the mushrooms, onions, and garlic until they softened, then cancel that and add the wild rice and chicken broth. Sealed the lid, set the vent to sealing, and put it on multigrain. The wild rice was delicious! This morning, I added chicken from what we had left over from last night, more chicken broth, and put it on the slow cook function with the vent set to venting. Worked like a charm. I think this will save us a lot of cleanup in the kitchen, and will come back and update this after we have used it for a while. One thing I especially liked, is that it came with detailed instructions that were not only easy to read, but easy to follow. There is a recipe book included, too, with a few recipes. In addition, there is a "quick reference" sheet with basic tips to follow. Love that the pot is stainless steel, too! It cleaned up in a jiffy. No issues at present, and very glad we got it! UPDATE 3-4-2019: Really love this Yedi pressure cooker. Last night, I cooked a whole chicken that we thawed out, in 25 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally, and ended up with a moist chicken and about 24 oz. of chicken broth that we can use to cook other things. The meat just fell off the bones, and tasted great! I rubbed seasoning all over the chicken, and then put about 3 tablespoons of oil in the bottom of the stainless liner, set it to sauté, and when the oil was hot, browned the chicken for 6 minutes, breast side down. Then, I flipped it over, added chicken broth and garlic and lemon juice, and set it for 30 minutes. I let the pressure release naturally, unlocked the lid, and enjoyed the chicken. I realized we have only had it less than a month, but have used it many times, with great success. Glad we got it!

Make great meals, just follow recipes and directions!
Ok, so I was very skeptical about jumping on the "instant cooker" bandwagon. With that said, I absolutely love this pressure cooker! I have used it for a few weeks now and every recipe I have tried came out spot on. A few things to keep in mind: some recipes will say " meatloaf ready in 10 minutes"... Keep in mind that this not not include prep time, sear time for vegetables, meats etc. Also this does not take into consideration the time it will take the unit to come up to pressure. Depending on the pressure setting and temperature selected, it can take the unit between 5 and 20 minutes BEFORE the actual "cooking time" starts. Also to be noted, the pressure release time will also vary based of pressure setting and pressure release method. Natural method means the unit turns off after cooking, the temperature inside the pot will drop, causing a pressure drop. Once the pot has cooled enough and the pressure dropped enough (I judge this by the little pressure lock valve on top of the pot, once it drops and no steam is coming from the valve, the pot is ready to open) then the lid can be opened. The other method is the quick release method which means you toggle a manual release vales (very carefully) to let steam (a.k.a. pressure) escapes from the pot. Once no more steam comes from the valve, and the small pressure lock valve drops, you can open the pot. So the bottom line. The "cooking" time is in fact reduced for MOST recipes (I'd say 99%) I have looked at. The end results are amazing, restaurant style food (remember to follow recipes). Tip: measure and lay out your ingredients in front of you and ready to go. This allows for quick transitions between steps. Now back to the pot itself. The quality is exactly the same as the famed 'Instant Pot'. The same goes for the accessories included in the bundle. There are a variety of accessories available to make you pressure cooking experience even better; extra pots and lids for example can save time by being able to prep/cook more than once recipe back to back without having to wash the pot and start the next recipe. With additional accessories, you can even make cakes, meatloaf, lasagna and countless other meals! The fact that this pot can also be used as a slow cooker eliminates the need for a seperate appliance for that. All in all, this pot has quickly become one of my favorite appliances in my kitchen. I plan on acquiring some extra accessories and expand my repertoire of go to recipes. Definately recommended for anyone who wants to save time and make fail proof meals.

Really great appliance
I was worried this product wouldnt live up to my expectations and I still havent used all the options on it. But despite that its made a really positive impact on my cooking times. I can cook meat without it burning and forget about it, and thats so important to me. If im doing something upstairs I dont have to worry my meals gonna burn. When it finishes it beeps loudly so I know its done, outside gardening I can still hear it. The meat is done so tender and gorgeous, just love this piece of kit. Wouldnt be without it now.

Sorprendente y SUPER RECOMENDABLE!

Buena calidad, muchos accesorios y buen precio.
Me costó 2,500 pesos mexicanos (aprox 100 dlls). Llegó en buen estado.
