Bought to charge another product and works great

I bought this to replace a 4V power supply for my wife's Mighty Brite magnifier floor lamp. The lamp is no longer offered, and neither is the 4V adapter. The vendor recommended a straight 12V adapter, but the light just blinked when it was used - classic protective circuit behavior. The selection of connectors had a compatible connector, and I set this adapter on the lowest setting - 4.5 volts, and it worked great!

It has many different sizes and is the right amperage for my notebook. The plug doesn't get hot and charges fast.

This is THE power supply to get for your photo frame etc. goes kaput, (check output), as it has all of the sizes of inputs. Initially bought a more expensive one that even matched the model on the bad power supply, and the input would not fit.

The adapter was not appropriate for our device. We are looking for a 12v dc, 1000mA adapter with a 2-prong connector on the output side. The adapter tips with this adapter did not match up with the input connector on our equipment. Please reply to this message and let us know if you might have any suggestions for an adapter that will work for us.

Make sure of the Polarity !!! For me, I verified the Polarity, grabbed the adapter that fit, then was alive 45 seconds later. Simply Plug -and-Play !!!
