Doing The Impossible: The 25 Laws for Doing The Impossible [Bet-David, Patrick] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Doing The Impossible: The 25 Laws for Doing The Impossible Review: A MUST READ! - Where do I start? I guess, I will begin with... I hope what I say here will truly do this author and book the justice it so completely deserves. Doing The Impossible is a very simple read. You could honestly read the entire book in one night if you really wanted to. Hopefully, if you do, (personally i think you should not rush it) you will walk away with some new found knowledge about your own life, goals, dreams, aspirations, and purpose. Why are we here? What is our sole purpose? What kind of impact can we make in this world with whatever limited time we have been given? With that being said... David's life experiences both past and present are truly inspirational and amazing. I applaud him for being so brave and courageous, and thank him for sharing his story. I am a teacher. I am very proud to say that. I feel on so many levels, on most days, that I am facing the impossible. This book after reading, then reading again, while incorporating and infusing his theory into my classroom/students, has been nothing but positive. I promise, if you take the opportunity to read this book, you will definitely not be disappointed. Review: If this book doesn't change you, nothing will. Great Wisdom. - If you are looking to re-create yourself or get more motivated to become successful in life, read this book. Patrick Bet David is a no-BS guy who cuts right to the point. The book is easy to read and a relatively quick read as its 155 pages and it describes the rules you need to follow to get on the right track and become an accomplished entrepreneur. Patrick talks about associating only with people who add value to your life and really emphasizes the need to work hard and be an "all-timer" and not a "full-timer" or "part-timer" if you want to make history and attain a high level of success. This book is definitely worth the read. It's in my top 10 best books list. What I like about Pat is he is very accomplished and came from a humble background as an Iranian immigrant with no college education and worked his way to the top. That is someone you want to take advice from. Also, I recommend you check out Patrick's YouTube channel called "Valuetainment" as it is my personal favorite channel for all things business and entrepreneurship. Now stop reading this review and start reading the book. You'll thank me later.

Short but powerful
We all need a good shot of encouragement on a regular basis. This book provides just that. One thing that I love is that the author has found success through applying the very principles that he teaches others. He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth and had to overcome many challenges to get to where he is today. I found myself highlighting the things that resonated the most with me. Here are a few of my favorites: "Part of daring to achieve the impossible is letting failure motivate you rather than discourage you." This is important because a natural tendency that many people, myself included have is to quit when things go wrong. I like the fact that this book encouraged me to use failure in a positive way. "Building your identity is about earning that identity. It is about doing the hard work, seeking the information, and transforming yourself from the inside out into the person you envision becoming." I appreciate the hard work aspect that's found in this book. So often people want results without the work, and the books that promise that really do people a disservice. I'm evaluating my commitment to do the work, and feel motivated to make it happen. "Think of your associations in terms of assets and liabilities. . . Look for people who have the qualities that you want to develop in your own self and learn from them." Many authors/speakers encourage people to hang out with rich people if they want to be rich. While there's some truth to that, I love that Bet-David takes it a step beyond in that he looks at multiple areas of life such as faith and marriage. People can add value to our lives in many different ways, and it's important to look beyond just the financial side of things. In addition to the inspiration that I found in this book, I also appreciated the action steps at the end of the chapters. Readers that take the time to do the action steps will have a better chance of internalizing the truths found in this short but powerful book.

A Book For All Seasons
Patrick Bet-David has drive. His writing has all the elements of success. This is a great read for anyone in my profession (sales). Whether new to the business or looking for a good, swift kick in the motivator, you can find nuggets within. It is a quick, easy read that you can use as a reference. It is also a book that could be used as a study guide for a sales team --- chapter by chapter, point by point. There is a lot of good old horse sense in this book. Things we all know and may have forgotten. Patrick shows what faith, inspiration and dogged determination can do if you have the will and the want. Patrick is an American Success Story --- if you follow his plan, you will succeed. This book is just another milestone in his career.

I bought this book because I have watched many videos on YouTube. I found that this book can be a very helpful workbook. Being not an entrepreneur yet it is hard for me to be objective on the content, but... From my experience owners of small businesses very rarely turn to personal development and taking steps to upgrade their business. This is a fairely small book, and yet it has all "essentials" for a short or even a long trip as a business owner. The only negative is that it was not edited properly as I came across a few misspellings. It looked a bit well...after I read how Patrick highly praised his editor. Editor was not up to the mark I think. Overall impression: well done, will use it as my workbook whenever appropriate. Highly recommend.

Brilliant book. If you need a book that will motivate you to do the impossible, this book is a great one. Easy to read, straight to the point. During the chapters there are some videos that can be watched. Also, at the end of each chapter there are action steps to help you to expand you thinking and became a person that will do the impossible.
