This is the proper replacement stylus if you have the original cartridge for the TDK Life on Record turntable, which I think is a version of a Numark cartridge. Eventually, you might upgrade the cartridge itself, but until then, this is the guy. Sound is good, but I’m not audiophile.

The media could not be loaded. I had no idea which needles to get for this thing but then I saw these looked identical. Audio quality is clear and has depth, not much white noise either.

Earlier needles said they fit Ion but did not. This one did. The turntable is about 12 years old and was purchased to turn my album collection into MP3. I know it does not have the best sound. I know a lot of my records are trashed. This did improve the sound compared to the old needle. The sound is still only ok. The needle slid into the cartridge easily.

I bought these for my ITT USB turntable, which they were supposed to be compatible with. They look very similar to the cartridge that came with the turntable, but the tiny plastic nub behind the needle is actually not quite the same. This means it doesn't "click" into the cartridge holder to stay up. I ended up solving it by taping it to the arm with some clear scotch tape. It does the job, but it doesn't look pretty.

I was skeptical (photos on Amazon make the needle look cheap) at first when purchasing these needles for my old ION PROFILE LP but I was presently surprised by the improvement in sound. I have an old record that skipped during a certain section of a song with my old needle but not with my new replacement!
