A very interesting book
Very well said by author RamG Vallath, active parenting is not a great recipe since there aren’t standard ingredients to it since each child is unique and needs to be handled differently. This book is a compilation of many interviews, self experience, different challenges faced by number of parents, researching child psychology, neurology, two years of extensive research and upskilling because parenting is not just one person’s experience.Parenting is a long term plan, a child needs guidance from a parents at each and every stage of its life. Author while designing the book also took care of the fact that today’s parenting is a bit more complex compare to two decades back. Disruptive technologies, unlimited information availability, global communication network have brought an immense change in current parenting.I like the fact that the author has shared a lot of examples from real life to illustrate a model for parenting based on surveys, interviews, research and personal experience. It’s a reader friendly book as I felt a two way communication while reading this book. As a parent myself I could even relate to many instances and understood my weaknesses since I was also a first-timer and experimenting myself. I believe any parent who has a child below the age of fifteen can benefit from it more likely although the tips and examples have spread out across children of all the age groups.Definitely a must read book to become an active parent.

Wonderful book
The author has penned down his own life experiences through a combination of tales, examples and references, and some very useful sugg estions. This book is all about parenthood and how to deal with kids in each circumstance. The writer has conveyed various experiences of his own and his buddies which were beneficial. This book not just conveys various tales as well as occurrences from the writer's own life of nourishing his children to make them up as Socially mindful, happy, and purposeful. The moralities he has discussed in the book indicate his profound comprehension of things. The difficulties talked about seemed so relatable moreover the way they are expressed is what is important t he most. The book is so well jotted down that it offers no space for lethargy or bypassing pages. This book is a mentor to all those who want first-hand direction in bringing up a kid. I understand no child is unique unless we give up or sabotage their prof iciency. If you are glancing for a parenthood book with some useful guidance, then you must check out this book by RamG Vallath.

A book with great advice
This book is not just a guide on how to become an active parent but it talks about authors own life experiences and tales from some other peoples life too.How beautifully she narrated by sharing real life experience of explaining the concept of trust to Advay her own son, Stories narrated by authors Achan or by Dr. Velumani’s father that delivered great experiences and helped in increasing their neutral connections and brain development, Integrity is honesty which was inculcated in Rekha Modi’s upbringing who later became a successful COO at HSBC world wide and many more.Rightly said this is a dual book where on one hand it talks about being a good parent by making your kids successful and on the other hand it becomes a self help guide which enriches ones own life. This book is not age specific hence the parenting tips which are tried and tested vary from age to age. Author RamG Vallath also offers a wide variety of practical tools for understanding the core needs of children. I believe author has addressed so many topics close to my own personal story too.The author has connected aptly with their readers even as he helped us to connect with our children. It’s definitely a must read book.
