A good toolkit with good screwdrivers for MacBook
I bought this toolkit because I needed to work on my MacBook while traveling. I have a set of tools for the MacBook at home, but needed another set to perform emergency surgery on it on the road. This set filled the bill. This is a very nice toolkit with good quality screwdrivers, including the weird but very necessary tri-lobe screwdriver, that are less likely to cause you to damage the screws of your MacBook. If you buy cheaper screwdrivers, you may find that they have soft metal tips and may not be well formed. This can cause the screwdriver to slip as you try to loosen screws, resulting in damage to the screw heads. The case is decent and useable, but not spectacular. The guitar picks are handy to have if your MacBook's bottom cover is stuck. (Mine wasn't, since I'd opened it several times before, for upgrades and a previous battery replacement.)I'd buy this kit again if I found myself without tools to work on my MacBook.

Everything you'll except...
This kit was perfect for my first time self replacement of my daughter's Mac Book Pro screen. It had everything I needed, all the required size tools (except for a good pair of tweezers). The felt case was a nice touch and every tool worked well except the blue plastic spudger tool. The tip was too soft and immediately started to tear on contact, leaving notches on the edge making it a bit useless. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend it for repairing your MacBook.

Best tool set for your macbook computer
This tool set exceed my expectation. It has everything I need to repair my macbook pro. I used them to change the hard drive on both of my macbook pro 15 retina and my sister's macbook air. They worked perfectly and the tools are well built. They feel a lot more premium than the other tool sets i purchased before. I'm planing on replacing the battery myself with these tools too since Apple wanted to charge me so much just for a battery swap. I love the carrying case they included too, its really easy to get the tools out and back in. You can store this anywhere and it takes up minimal space. Overall this is the best tools set I could find at this price and everything is great.

Worked well for MacBook Pro disassembly
Nice assortment of tools. Nice length of tools to fit into your hand. The storage case / tool bag is a joke and does not do the tool kit justice.

Get Them. They Work Very Well.
Did. The. Job. Well. Now I have no use for them. But I could feel smart and hip now that I have them. Like some imagined fondue set I might have inherited from my older sister if she had one. Can't say they are gathering dust because they are inside a tool box.Anyway, I enjoyed using them to remove and replace the bottom panel of my Macbook. I felt smart and hip.(Okay, I think I'm now over Amazon's review word count minimum.)Get the set if you need the set. They can do the job and do the job very well.

Works great with Macbook Pro Retina late 2014 model A1398
I did some research for the tool kit best suit my purpose for a Macbook Pro Retina late 2014 model A1398. I found this set fits well with all the tools I need. It contains Pentalobe P5, Torx T5 and Torx T8, as well as Plastic Spudger. With these essential tools, I was able to successfully replacing my Macbook Pro screen assembly without an issue.

Can't recommend...
This is an admirably complete set of tools. However, in the course of swapping in a new trackpad for a MacBook Air -- the only task for which this set was purchased -- one of the needed drivers rounded out before removal of the faulty trackpad had been completed. I was forced to take the machine and parts to a friendly local laptop repair place, where they loaned me the driver I needed and some space to work on it, so the job could be accomplished successfully. Having a driver round out and become useless within thirty minutes of careful work is frustrating. I recommend a set of universal handle + different bits, which is the kind the repair shop had and recommended to me. The bits seem to be hardened better.
