Is this singlet uspa approved?

Yes, I believe it would be. I wore it at a USPA event and brought home a state record. And other women were wearing them as well.

How does this work for running or cardio? Has anyone experienced the issues with sweat staining the suit?

I wear these under a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi.... So as you can imagine I sweat A LOT. No problems with staining whatsoever. I've used these singlets for years.

what are the dimensions of this item?

I ordered a medium- which is approximately women's size 5-7. Should be fine on an adult height- 5'4" ish to 5'10". I would say it fits well- bust, bottom, thighs- Nothing too tight or loose. There is elastic on the thighs, which keeps it from climbing and it is not irritating. It is stretchy and not shaped, contouring fine (eg, for brazeirre size). I don't have exact dimensions though. Good undergarment- I wouldn't wear this by itself (eg, female wrestling), but I'm modest. It's thickness of material is fine though.

Is this IPF approved?

I looked up IPF standards and Asics is not one of the manufacturers on the list. But I am not very familiar with IPF.
