PB216 - Proportioning Valve, Brass Finish for Disc/Drum Brakes

This is the first valve I have ever replaced in all my years as a mechanic and it fit perfect all 5 lines lined up just as they should, and works perfect, I replaced it with one hand, it was that easy!! hahaha!! I only have one arm.. Good Product.

This is my family van. Yes while old she is loved and well taken care of. We bought this part a while back to replace the older one since we wanted to make sure the ONE time a year we drive her, she'd get us to our destination without issue. Well needless to say after seeing the photos... my parents were stranded for 3.5 hours on the side of a busy highway while they waited for help to arrive.My fiance, a mechanic, looked at it, and this BRAND NEW PART was defective and failed causing the brake fluid to leak, (as you can see on the ground in front of the van) and nearly give my poor mum a panic attack as she wasnt sure if she would hit my dad in the suburban and the boat in front of her; the brake pedal hitting the floor and losing its effectiveness.THANKFULLY no one was hurt. But this kind of irresponsibility on the part of the seller, for not properly quality checking their products before they send them... well... it could have been so much worse.Not happy... and honestly afraid for anyone who decides to choose this seller to buy from.BUYER BEWARE!

installed well,looks like good quality and looks exactly like original. project isnt done so I havnt used it

Valve is very well made from solid brass, and an exact fit in my 1977 3/4 ton Chevy. Installation was a snap, and was what I needed to get my brakes working correctly again.

worked as advertised, easy to install.

Leaked from proportioning button right out of the box as soon as the power bleeder was attached.
