Needed it as a present and it looked really good.

Nicer than the original one. Very happy.

Try to lock clock, will not work.

Works as described for half the price my local clock store wanted.

Key is cheaper metal than the original, and the key is hollow, which is weird as the original was solid.Also, it doesn't fit great in my Sligh grandfather clock. I can still use it for unlocking and locking relatively easily, but have to jam it in the hole and move it around a bit to get it positioned just right to unlock.

Works

The style of this key is very pretty but the finish is not. I expected it to be very gold and it is not.

This key worked ok in my Howard Miller clock case. The key is NOT solid brass, it is brass plated. Why lie about this when it is so easy to disprove it. Use a file on the end and it is obvious that the underlying metal is silver colored - not brass colored.
