My skin is very textured, I have large pores and very very very dry patches on my skin that make almost every single foundation look cakey on me. This sleeping pack gives my face a lot of moisture which has also made my foundation look a lot smoother and less cakey. My skin feels softer, and fresh. It's scented kind of florally(?) but no scent of pumpkin. I for sure plan on ordering this again. I used to rely on intense exfoliation once a week to handle my acne, but since I started using this, I haven't needed to use my stronger/harsher exfoliant, AND my previously dehydrated skin (from winter on the East Coast) is hydrated and healthy. It comes in a pretty big tube, and has a nice, light, floral scent (no pumpkin, don't worry) and smooth consistency. For people with dry/normal skin, you might want to use another moisturizer after this, since it's not very thick. I use rosehip oil afterwards, and then some Smith's rose lip balm for extra dry areas (like my lower cheeks). We got some small samples of it when we were in S Korea last year and I would use the samples once or twice a week at night after a basic wash with noxzema and it made my skin softer and less dry, but I ran out and couldn't find it for a reasonable rate until recently when I looked again and knew more about how it was intended to be used. (The price on Amazon is excellent for the US, btw!) It's part of a Korean skin care regime where you don't just wash and go but instead wash either in one or two steps (oil cleanser followed by gentle creamy cleanser) then if it is evening you would exfoliate if you wish, then use toner, then begin layering on moisturizer (essence &/or ampoule, breaking for a mask if you wish, eye cream, emulsion, and then either a moisturizing cream or a sleeping pack moisturizer) and during the day a simpler wash and moisturize/spf protect. The Pumpkin Sleeping Pack is the final step in an abbreviated system now for me for about half of the week (around half the amount of a pencil eraser or a little more is all that is needed) and my winter 41 year old skin is becoming much more like the skin of my youth!
