Q: Does the sewn in tag say 100% cotton? Does it feel soft when on? Can you see the body thru the sweater when on?

The tag does say 100% cotton on the burgundy colored sweater. I loved that it was a nice and soft but sturdy cotton. The sweater is medium weight and it isn’t see through. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the sweater was for the price and it appears to be well made. My daughter liked it so much I bought it in the charcoal gray for her as a Christmas present.

Its 100% cotton and I wash it on delicate cycle and put in tfe dryer on low heat .

Q: Why does the description say "French Terry fleece"?

It must be typo, that's not accurate. The sweater is a cotton cable knit. It’s gives a little and is machine washable.

Q: Will a xl be to big for my 12 year old daughter she 4'10 and weighs about 125

Yes!! I got a medium and it fits great. I’m 5’2” and weigh 100 lbs. I would think a medium would fit her. I think even a large when be too big.
