I'm 5'8". The handles are long enough and sturdy enough for proper grip when I'm doing leg lifts. I do need to mention that I purchased the power tower without the pads. I can still do leg lifts effectively but it is definitely uncomfortable without the pads. I also want to mention that the tower itself is pretty light weight so I have to be careful to use the tower with proper form with every exercise. If I jerk the tower really hard, it will tip over. I personally haven't had an issue with the tower tipping over. I'm satisfied overall.
