Wasn't sure about these when I bought them, but I am glad I did! A couple years ago I came across these spikey bouncy balls that lite up that my cats went nuts over. They loved to chase them and carry them around the house. The youngest one would spend hours taking the balls up the stairs, would push the ball down the steps to chase and would repeat over and over. Unfortunately I cannot find them anywhere in the house. I have spent hours looking online and in every store I step in to find replacements, however the balls I find are never the right size (always too big) or not the right material (they like the plastic/rubber that is flexible, but not squishy). My youngest cat just had a birthday and I ordered these on a whim, hoping that it might be the rubber material they like based on some reviews stating that their cats ate pieces of the ball and digested them. I know that sounds like I am a terrible cat mom, but my cats are not chewers. They are just fascinated by playing fetch and carrying them around the house. These have some bounce to them, however they have a very unpredictable bounce patterned and never go where you want them to! But that's something my cats love about them, since they often entertain themselves with the balls. Some people asked about quantity and color-I received 2 balls, 1 red and 1 a purple/blue color. If your cats are chewers I would NOT recommend these unless your supervising, as I can see how it would be easy to chew off the knobby parts. But if you have cats like mine that love to play fetch or carry toys around while running erratically around the house meowing in the middle of the night, then they will love these. I will be ordering another set, as I know its just a matter of time before these ones disappear.

One of my cats doesn't give two figs about this toy. BUT the other one is *crazy* for it. My cat sitter left this ball for the cats while I was on vacation once, and I'd never seen a toy like it before. But I was thrilled to see how much my orange tabby adored that thing (so I bought these on Amazon as a backup in case anything ever happens to it). It's his favorite toy. I have wooden floors and live on the third floor and I have to hide the toy every night so he doesn't bounce it on the floor on top of the neighbors while they sleep. He loves carrying it around. He'll have one of the little knobs between his teeth and the ball will just sort of dangle in his mouth and he takes it everywhere. I wish I had a better video of him playing with it because he throws it around, bounces it everywhere, and chases after it like some crazy cat on speed. He also takes it to the top of the stairs, throws it down (I can hear it bouncing down the stairs throughout the day), and then runs down and brings it back to the top and does it all over again. He takes it to his sleep spot, wherever that might be, and sleeps NEXT to his ball. This has been the best, most amusing, endlessly exciting toy for him. He plays with it on a daily basis and there isn't any other toy that he has that he plays with as consistently. I love watching him (and hearing him) play with it all day long.

My nephews cat Luna fetches this toy like she’s a little puppy. She can go on for an hour running back and forth. Such great exercise for her. I bought a set for my cats and Oreo my kitten loves it of course but my older cat Shadow just loves to watch Oreo run around. Very durable and great 3D style for easy pick up. Highly recommend.

My cat went crazy for these the second I opened them. It's the perfect size for his mouth and has great bounce. He plays like a dog and brings it back to me each time, but he also loves to bat these around when he's playing by himself. The nubs on it make it easy for him to pick up and carry. I couldn't be more happy with this purchase! I'll definitely buy again if he loses these.

My cats love bouncy balls. This one is bouncy and sporadic due to the bumps which I think is great. However, it’s a bit heavier than your average quarter size bouncy ball so be careful when throwing it that it doesn’t hit your pets nose, etc. I recommend.

These were not the hit you'd think they were with any of my cats (11 months to 7 years). If you take them and throw them down they bounce wildly for about 5 bounces. My cats LOVED this part. But because they aren't round they don't roll on the floor, so after 5 bounces they stop moving entirely. Once they've stopped moving, the cats can't get them moving again. They aren't round and don't roll, so even if the cats try to bat or swipe them, they don't move and don't roll, they just stay put. So the cats chase them while they bounce then walk away (see my video). To keep them occupied with these, you have to go get the ball, throw it down and make it bounce, then go get it again, throw it down again to make it bounce again, etc. Both myself and the cats got bored within a few minutes. Plus they are small and would bounce under furnishings.

My cats love these! These are a great deal. I love the color but I thought color would be pink and purple. The one that I thought was purple is actually blue. They are durable thick rubber, so they hurt if you step on them.

Have purchased this product before and loved it. However, our most recent delivery was made of a different rubber than before, and do not bounce much at all. The cat still chases them, but it's disappointing for everyone involved. The point of the Atomic Bouncing Ball as opposed to regular bouncing balls is the crazy, unpredictable ricochet that keeps the cat on his guard and chasing after the thing. Completely absent in the newest shipment. Very sad!

This ball is one of the only toys my cat will play with. He's almost 2 years old, and will even play with it himself if we won't play with him. He especially loves it being thrown up or down stairs. Although these balls will go under furniture, I don't think he would play with them if they were bigger. We've had this product for a few months, and they still look almost as good as new. I highly recommend this product, and also buying more than 1 package (as you will lose some around the house). After a few months of using this product, our cat still loves them and they are his favourite toy. The 1 downside to these balls is that our cat likes to chew on them, and takes pieces off. It does take a lot of knawing on them to get pieces off, but the chewed up ones don't bounce as well, and we have to hide them at night so that he doesn't chew and swallow pieces. Otherwise, the product is amazing, just not 100% animal proof.

I thought this was a great product and thought my cat would go mad for it, however, he didn't like the way they bounced all over the place and stopped playing with it pretty quickly.

Der Katze gefällt es und wir haben unseren Spaß sie dabei zu beobachten in die komplett verkehrte Richtung zu laufen, als man es normalerweise kennen würde! Einzig Kritikpunkt wäre dass der Ball etwas hart ist und somit nicht so gut ins Maul genommen werden kann.
