Wild ride, but this thing is LEGIT.
The media could not be loaded. Hold onto your horses, this fly trap is NO JOKE.I don't know what changed in the past few months but the flies have been a NIGHTMARE. After the 246,712th fly crashed into my body for no dang reason I started casually googling looking for traps. The weather changed a bit, maybe it'll die down with how bad they are....Fast forward a week after reading reviews and not only did one of these jerks land and die in my vodkacran, but THREE at one time. Well, as you can imagine, This Mama has had ENOUGH.I found this Magic Eff Off Fly Trap that you see here and Hooo Boy does it work. If you look at the pictures, that black line on the jug is little fly carcasses and I have ZERO REGERTS! No regrets whatsoever, I may just tattoo that somewhere. But I digress. The trap uses petrified eggs to bait them so when it says OUTDOOR it means it. It's got a potent smell that I fussed st my dog for passing gas near me more than a couple times by mistake when I first set it up, so make sure to place it where the smell won't carry into the house. If you look at the video, you can see flies trapped inside and others excitedly meandering their way inside slowly. Clearly the outcries of their brethren mean nothing to them, because they each in turn dove right in.I love this thing, totally worth the $ and it IS reusable once it's full.Mind you. We've only started using this, it's been outside a week AND through a short cold front.Definitely recommend and will be purchasing more!!

definitely attracts flies
Flies are a problem for me as I live near a cow farm, and I have a horse so I'm battling flies coming into my house all of the time. I purchased these and there was definitely a noticeable difference. There were way fewer flies hanging around my porch as they were so attracted to the traps. This stuff stinks horrible but that's why they work. They really work great!

No more flies!
Works great! After one hour of hanging, I checked and many flies were trapped inside. I have had it about 5 days now. Very satisfied. My only complaint is it came with nothing to hang it with and this is why I gave it 4 stars. I am sure the company could come up with an inexpensive cord and include inside the bottle to be used to hang up this fly catcher.

This actually worked!
These things actually work.SMELL - Yes it smells terrible. The point is to attract flies, and flies like dead things which is what this smells like (You only notice if you are in close proximity and the wind blows just right). The trick is to place it AWAY from the picnic table and AWAY from the door to your house. When placed in a well ventilated area away from where you plan to congregate you will not notice the smell, but the flies will, and they will be drawn to the trap. I put one in the chicken coop and within a couple of days I had 1 inch of flies floating in the bottle. I placed one about 4-5 yards from the house and the flies were drawn to that bottle as well. I am now on my second refill.MESSY RE-USE - While the re-use is cost effective, it is a messy job. (I dug a hole, poured the mess in and buried it.) The smell lingers in the bottle until rinsed out (using the garden hose, away from the house), but then you are right back in business.MAGGOTS - This does not happen if used correctly. If allowed to dry out or become so infested with flies they begin to create their own mulch then of course you have a breeding ground for maggots. HOWEVER, if emptied before you reach that point you will not have that problem.FLIES FLYING BACK OUT OF THE BOTTLE - There will be a few flies flying out of the bottle once in a while. BUT when the bottle has 2-3 inches of flies floating in water, I would say you made a bit of a dent in your fly population.

Best trap anywhere!!!
Living on a horse ranch means flies love the manure for home, food, and nursery for next generations. Now I put a trap by each outside door and near where I sit watching the sun set behind the mountains. Not a single fly buzzing me!!! First time in my 80 years when I don't need a fly swatter in hand at all times.

Buy at Home Depot
Works great at catching flies. Got here after two weeks! At that point I see it way cheaper at your local Home Depot. Better value there

It stinks so bad, that it's amazing
I have been switching between this and the disposable ones. The reusable one is great, but a mess to clean out, and you can purchase more bait. The disposable one is great and easy to dispose of(I place it in a zip lock bag so it doesn't spill all over the trash can), but price wise, it can add up..Either way, make sure you place it in the sun and away from any windows and doors.
